Game du Jour is a "One Deal a Day" website for casual PC games. Every day of the week, GameDuJour.com sells one downloadable game at a steep discount.
Every week Blogcritics Magazine will bring you a look of those games, so you know what to expect when the featured game gets its 24 hours in the spotlight.
We aim to publish reviews at least one day before the game goes on sale at GameDuJour.com, so please check back regularly. But we will admit, as much as we love casual games here at Blogcritics, we won't be able to get to every title.

Firewall is the latest production from Bolt Software, and was designed, programmed, and created by Xander Moser. In these days of viruses roaming the internet, your computer has become infected with several lethal viruses. They have set themselves in your memory, and will take over your computer unless you stop them. You are the Firewall. Build robots to help in your revenge against the viruses. Poster robots build posts to take back control of your computer's memory. Hacker robots hack at the virus controlled memory so you can take back control. Wrecker robots seek and destroy virus robots. Build drones and bases to help defend your memory and take back control of your computer.
Soda Pipes is a fresh, colorful take on the classic Pipe Dream game. Like its predecessor, the objective is to fuse a bunch of pipes together to prevent the liquid (in this case, soda) from spilling out. However, Soda Pipes improves upon the original.
There are three modes of play. Adventure Mode provides the basic gameplay and offers three speeds of liquid flow. Slow speed is practice, and you can't move on to the next level until completing either Medium or Fast speed. Puzzle Mode is a little more relaxing since the flow doesn't start until you've put down the last piece. However, you're given a finite number of pieces so you'd have to be careful in using them. Arcade Mode is the most challenging, since you have to keep the pipes going as long as possible, and every broken pipe subtracts from your score.
