The [Fanatec.head$h0t] controller looks to mix things up for PC gamers, featuring capabilities that allow players to switch between mouse and controller.
In an attempt to ease the playability of mixed-mode games such as Battlefield and Grand Theft Auto, ENDOR will be shipping the controller on Oct. 10 at the suggested retail price of $99.99. The controller is a combination of Fanatec's heäd$h0t mouse, aURa mouse pad, emul8or software, illuminated cable holder and USB 2.0 hub all packed into a LAN suitcase.
The controller allows players to switch it to work as a three-axis, nine-button joystick as well as change the resolution (up to 4,000 dpi) on the fly or as part of a macro. ENDOR has designed the controller to provide comfort for the player, featuring an ergonomic size adjustment system and rests the player’s hand entirely on the mouse to prevent extra friction.
Using emul8or software, macros can be programming during game play and not only map it to one of the mouse buttons or the scroll wheel but also to any key on the connected keyboard. A spiral cable along with technology used on the aura mouse pad and mouse feet prevents friction or resistance that would disturb a player’s aim.
