Sony has said they cannot drop the PS3's price and run their business effectively, but they are wrong.
A short time ago Sony Computer Entertainment executive Ray Maguire was quoted in response to a question about a PlayStation 3 price cut. The arguments is apple vs Oranges.. The article person wrote is concerning competition. In order for Sony to be competitive, it must consider lowering price on their system. Just like the competition is doing.
However,primary argument is that Sony is a Company and must make a profit and must remain competitive. To do that there RR has to focus on what they feel would be a competitive pricing for there system and how there going make $ from the selling of Games.
Problems is competitors pricess are lower on there systems, and with a couple of exceptions, the primary game makers are producing games that can be played on any game system. Final resolve, is those who care about the Playstation game consule believe, lower the price to be competitive, or focus on loosing the buss. to the Mike's(microsoft) and nintendo's of the world.
