CES 2011 News Bit: JamParty: Remixed uses Rock Band and Guitar Hero Controllers

Part of: NewsFlash

Ever wonder what the game development community had in store for this massive backlog of old Rock Band and Guitar Hero controllers and equipment? Well, Zivix LLC is in the midst of developing a music creation game called JamParty: Remixed which apparently shows off a new technology called the Peavey HeroMaker digital guitar.

The concept is to use existing peripherals such as the already released USB Rock Band and Guitar Hero guitar controllers as well as the keyboard in this title. Planned for release on PC’s first and later on “all major consoles,” JamParty: Remixed apparently has “top artists” that have contributed to the music featured in the game as well.

With a demo featured on the CES floor, I’m certain that more news  as to how this game will allow for you to actually create and remix music and share them quickly as an MP3 will soon be released. Beaterator beware!!

Until then, here is the released trailer. If you want to follow their progress then jump to their site.
