Capcom Details Future Lost Planet Update

Capcom isn't looking to lose its Lost Planet players as the company is once again putting forth an effort to improve its latest Xbox 360 hit.

A worldwide update to the game is expected to hit consoles somewhere around March 9. The patch will not only update with additional multiplayer features but will also fix some of the minor bugs and exploits discovered in the game after its release in January.

The features added by the update address a number of requests to help players find matches with appropriate connections and will allow online gamers to identify each other by voice as well as Gamertag.

The features added by the update address a number of requests to help players find matches with appropriate connections and will allow online gamers to identify each other by voice as well as Gamertag.

The full list of updates includes:

  • Each player will now find a flag denoting that person's country of residence in the pre-game lobby.
  • Gamertags will also have added icons, which indicate a player's connection strength, speed and rating in the pre-game lobby.
  • In team elimination, post grab and fugitive modes, an indicator will appear onscreen next to the Gamertag of a person who is currently speaking. The speech indicator will also be implemented in the post-match results screen.
  • At the post-match results screen, any players who left the session will have their Gamertag's text darkened.
  • Fixes occurrences where there are multiple fugitives in the fugitive multiplayer game mode.
  • Additional lobby screens will no longer stack on top of another if an error occurs on the lobby screen.
  • The game will no longer reboot or hang in transition in the case of long delays or lag.
  • Fixes occurrences where some players were invisible in-game due to long delays or lag.
  • Post-match results will no longer feature players who did not participate in the match.
  • Players will no longer be able to start a taunt animation during reloads in order to shorten reload time.

    The game is good, may be very good under vista (directx 10), but is 2 problems in this game bugs and frost. It's too much for me !
