It's been officially confirmed that on the third of May, Activision will release a new Expansion pack for Call of Duty Black Ops called Escalation. The First Black Ops expansion pack, First Strike, was released in November 2010.
Black Ops First Strike set records for downloads, sellng nearly 1.9 million times with 1.4 million of downloads within 24 hours on Xbox Live.
Escalation contains five new maps featuring; four new multiplayer maps and a unique zombie with new playable characters that will be available exclusively for Xbox 360. Here's a quick rundown of the Xbox 360 Live Call of Duty Black Ops Escalation :
- Convoy features of an intense scene of an ambushed US military convoy vehicle.
- Hotel takes the player on the roofs of a luxury hotel and casino in Havana, Cuba.
- Zoo takes the player on a wild ride of an abandoned Russian zoo, an ideal place for setting traps.
- Stockpile brings the player on a Russian farm where secret weapons of mass destruction are built,
- Call of the Dead brings a new zombie level experience.
Hopefully Escalation will break sales records. The PlayStation 3 and PC versions of Escalation are not yet confirmed.
