Shockwave.com Redesigned
Atom Entertainment announced today that they have redesigned Shockwave.com, as well as created a new development studio, Game Studios, which will exclusively develop online games for Shockwave.

“Today we’re entering a new era in online gaming by redesigning the site to appeal to the wide demographic base of casual gamers and offering advertisers a breadth of choices to reach our growing audience of 25 million casual game enthusiasts,” said Dave Williams, CMO of Atom Entertainment. “We’ve made the site more appealing for game players, and more flexible for advertisers who are trying to reach this audience in innovative ways.”

The new website will enable sponsorship programs and varied advertising around all types of online games. Atom Entertainment noted that expanded kids and multiplayer sections of the site will allow marketers to target specific audiences much more effectively. Shockwave In-Game Network offers advertisers the opportunity to insert their brands into titles on the Shockwave website.
