This from CMU:
Cynics may say it’s further proof that anything with ‘fuck’ in the title sells – but either way Eamon has scored success here in the UK (as he has in both the US and Australia) with his fuck-filled track ‘Fuck It (I Don’t Want You Back). He tops this week’s singles chart, beating D12 into number two with their track ‘My Band’. Rasmus stay at three with ‘In The Shadows’, McFly slip down to six with ‘5 Colours In Her Hair’, and Wolfman / PeteDoherty go in at seven with ‘For Lovers’.
Other new entries include: Agnetha Falktskog who, despite bailing out from planned promotional activity at the last minute, goes in at eleven with ‘If I Thought You’d Ever Change Your Mind'; Joe featuring G-Unit who go in at twelve with ‘Ride Wit U'; that other former Nsyncer JC Chasez who goes in at thirteen with ‘Some Girls’.
Janet Jackson gets a new entry at 15 with ‘Just A Little While’ (which I’ve kinda decided I like), Snow Patrol’s ‘Chocolate’ is in at 24, Dido’s ‘Don’t Leave Home’ goes in at 25 (quite low, but then everyone in the world already owns the album) and the Beta Band return at 31 with ‘Assessment’.
Albums chart wise, only rejigging in the top three (now Guns ‘n’ Roses, Anastacia, Usher). Diana Krall has the highest new entry with ‘The Girl In The Other Room’ at four – and, well, that’s about it really.Powered by Sidelines
