Fox’s New ‘Cosmos’ Live Stream Preview and Q&A: Tune in Now

Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey will premiere March 9 on FOX. Tonight, join fans around the country for a special screening event and Q&A with the series producers, right here on Blogcritics.

The series will air Sundays (9:00 ET) on FOX, and rebroadcast Mondays – with all-new bonus footage and behind-the-scenes content – on the National Geographic Channel (10:00-11:00 PM ET/PT).

Cosmos follows in the footsteps of Carl Sagan and his landmark series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage. The new series is a labor of love from Seth MacFarlane (Family Guy, American Dad) and Sagan’s original creative team — writer/executive producer Ann Druyan and astronomer Steven Soter. Cosmos is hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. The 13-part documentary series will, according to Fox, “serve as a successor to the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning original series.”

Transporting viewers across space and time, Cosmos will “re-invent” some the original series’ most celebrated elements, including the Cosmic Calendar and Ship of the Imagination, while presenting new stories of the heroic quest for knowledge.
