The Blu-ray edition of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will be released by Warner Bros. on December 8. To celebrate the release, fans who purchase the Blu-ray collection will have the opportunity to simultaneously watch the movie live with star Daniel Radcliffe and director David Yates, who will be joining the community from London and will participate in an interactive Q&A session with fans. This event will take place on December 12 at 3:00 pm (EST).
Radcliffe is looking forward to the event and said that he is "excited to talk directly to fans of the movie about my experiences and answer their questions. It's a wonderful way for fans and for those directly involved with making a film to share opinions and ideas."
Members of the Warner Bros. BD-Live community who registered and signed up for the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Live Community Screening will receive an emailed invitation to participate in the event, but only the first 100,000 who RSVP will be allowed to participate.
BD-Live is only accessible through a BD-Live enabled Blu-ray disc played on an Internet-connected Blu-ray player (including PlayStation 3) with BD-Live capabilities and sufficient data storage. Please consult your player manual or player support website for more information.
