In the 2010 iteration of March Madness, who will come away victorious? Will it be Ohio State or Kansas; Syracuse or Kansas State; Kentucky or West Virginia; or Duke or Villanova? Maybe it will be a sleeper, like New Mexico. Or maybe it will be a dark horse like Florida. No matter who the overall victor is, the vast majority of the country will be intrigued for the next four weeks, and they will spend countless hours watching (and betting) on the games. We here at Blogcritics are here to help facilitate that time-wasting.

While the competition will mostly be for bragging rights (I mean, who doesn't want to beat sports editor Matt Sussman?), the winner will be receiving one (1) copy of NCAA Basketball 10 for the system of their choice.

Now, as I am a rather lazy person, I wanted to do as little as possible with the whole running of the competition work. We will be using Yahoo! to run the brackets, keep the scores, and, well, do everything. It's simple, shows all of the information, and even has "what if" scenarios, so I hope that it presents the ease of use that you all expect.

Not only will Yahoo! have everything that you need, but I will also be writing a weekly recap of the current situation, and letting you all know how amazingly well I am doing (note: if Sussman or I win, the next best competitor will get the prize).

I look forward to competing against all of you, and wish you all the best of luck. If you know of any friends, family, or people you just want to beat, who would be interested in the competition, invite them. The more, the merrier.

Hey, look, some rules.

To enter the contest, you must be a resident of the USA and over the age of 18.

You must register and enter your bracket in the Yahoo group prior to its deadline.

The winner (overall winner, if there is a tie, the tie breaker is used) will win one copy of NCAA Basketball 10 for the console of their choice.

If you win, I will contact you to find out which version of the game you want as well as your address.
