A Facebook profile contains the information about a specific Facebook user. This ranges from Facebook login information like the username and password to settings, friends and private messages that the user has received on the social networking site.

Every user who creates an account at Facebook gets a profile page where these settings and information can be edited, added and deleted.

The term Facebook profile is often used in the same sense as Facebook account, describing a certain user who has joined the network.

Facebook profiles are also shown to other users. Privacy settings control which part of the profile is shown to which user group. They are generally divided into public profiles, data that can be accessed by anyone, and private information which can only be seen by authorized Facebook users.

You’ll find bloggers talking about Facebook Profiles at sites like Astrochicks and Dragonblogger.
