Um... well... we already get problems with people generalizing about the relative length of certain body parts in certain groups. Ahem.
But aside from that your point is well taken. Uh, I mean... you've raised an important issue. No, wait, that doesn't sound right either.

Scholarships? No. Admission preferences, yes.
Scholarships are often privately funded and arbitrarily specific - they can be based on ethnicity, religion, geography, or even surname. In fact, many people will only donate to put their own children to get through college.

Actually, unless the physical characteristics are pronounced, a coroner, decent or otherwise, or a forensic anthropologist, can give you the highest probability of the race of an individual, as with the gender & age, but it's never a certainty unless all the signs are in alignment, so to speak. At the moment, as far as I know, there are no DNA markers indicating 'this person is black', 'this person is inuit', etc. Would that there were, for criminologists' sakes.

Wait, you mean to tell me that if we all just decided to not "see color", mixed with one another, that I would never ever see my own beautiful black people ever again? That would suck tremendously. My people are so beautiful to me, and to see them disappear along with other beautiful people of color would be a waste to me living on this earth. I like looking at people who look like I do. I like talking with other people of color. I don't too much care for white people, so if they were to disappear I wouldn't care. I believe people should be with their own. Bi-racial, and multi-racial people look nothing like me and are less likely to have anything in common with me. I don't even like dealing with them either. But people of color who are not mixed up with God knows what I can hang around all day. Call me a racist, bigot, whatever I do not care. But I refuse to live in a fantasy world so people can pretend that color and class do not matter. The fact is they do. I am not going to promote interracial relationships. That is like promoting genocide of all people of color. To me that is murder. Racism will not end because a black person and an asian person had sex with one another and produced a child. No, it will end when everyone all over the world can be honest about their feelings towards race. That's when people will realize that "race" doesn't matter. My two cents. Take it as you wish.
