Wave Systems, a la mode team up to digitize real estate industry

Okay, they really only agreed to digitze industry documents for customers of a la mode, according to a release, but this is an important step toward ensuring a move toward digital document use for the entire real estate industry and its supporting industries.

Everything from a la mode will be digital, except for the termite inspection, home inspection and optional mold inspection documents, at least until later this month, according to their website. While FedEx already makes shipping documents quick, a la mode's new services would make delivery a no-cost item sent in real time, providing a faster delivery time at no expense to the buyer, seller or real estate professional. This provides a bonus from a la mode that no other real estate website service provider is able to match, as of yet, but we hope they all will jump on the digital document bandwagon soon.

Of course, if the other website service provider companies don't start providing their real estate customers, mortgage broker customers and other customers digital document services soon, they may become digital dinosaurs that have become extinct because of a failure to move forward along with the rest of the industry.
