The very first installment of what the April, 2100 issue of Podcasting History calls "[T]he most influential podcast in ... history" has been completed (finally).
Just click here to download, or subscribe to the feed here. It should be available at iTunes by now, so if you're so inclined you can subscribe there as well. The web site has show notes and links, so you'll want to go there as well.
{Incidentally, all the listed Amazon links are to things I would really like to have, so if you feel like giving me a present ...}

Woohoo! I'm listening now, though I won't be able to finish before returning to work. You sound... I don't know. I suspect that if Temple, you, Thaniel, and I recorded a podcast together, people might have trouble telling us all apart. ;-)

ROFLOL. Thanks, Phil -- I think.
I actually can do the octave-lower radio voice (I do it for the podcast I do for my church -- THAT might be an interesting addition to the Blogcritics "network" [lol]) but I didn't do it for this one.

I may use that lower voice myself for tonight's podcast. :-)
I can't wait to hear what you do for podcast #119. Kudos on the ESV.

It's a slooooow download. It's taken 14 minutes so far here at work.

If I make it that far, I might have to split Psalm 119 up into segments. Otherwise, show #119 might end up being an hour long reading and comment on Psalm 119.
I started using the ESV through eSword. Then they had copies at the bookstore at Southern for $4, so I grabbed one. I like the way the translation has been done. The Psalms still sound poetic.
Trying to figure out why it's such a long download -- happened to me, too. Other podcasts are just as long, but not as long a download. Anyone have any suggestions for a newbie?

Congratulations on getting a podcast going, Warren.
You might want to add info on your post as to what your podcast is about and what is specifically included on each episode. That way, people can decide if they want to listen (it also helps a lot to provide semi-detailed on how to do this).

Meant to say "semi-detailed info..." above.

Nice show Warren. I particularly liked hearing the Psalm, and the discussion trailing out from that.

Archive.org ain't fast! Temple's podcasts download quickly, so you could host it at his site. Or find another host.

Think I'll do that. I figured it had to be archive.org -- the one I do for the church is just as long and takes no time to download.
Thanks, Temple!
