Every year, Universal Studios Los Angeles transforms into Halloween Horror Nights, where guests are treated to the best Halloween attraction in Southern California. This year, the highly rated slasher flick The Strangers will join other classic movies being featured at Halloween Horror Nights.
The Strangers, which fans call “one of the best horror movies ever made,” will join classic figures of horror movies: the Wolf Man, the Mummy, Frankenstein’s Monster, Chucky, and Psycho’s Mother Bates. The Strangers characters Doll Face, Pin-Up Girl, and the Man in the Mask will be walking around in various scare zones and will be featured in the House of Horrors maze.
There will be a ton of mazes at Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights this year, including a brand new Nightmare on Elm Street maze. In the past, Universal has had some of the best mazes - much better than at competitor in fright Knott’s Scary Farm - and this year's edition is sure to be another great one.
Don’t miss the Terror Tram either. Only available during Halloween Horror Nights, the Terror Tram allows guests to hop off the tram in the studio back lot and get up-close-and-personal with the Psycho House, the War of the Worlds set, and the Bates Motel. This year, the tram ride will double in size and include an exclusive preview of the new Wolfman movie that will premiere in April of next year.
Halloween Horror Nights will be open October 3-4, 10-11, 17-19, 24-26, 30-31 and November 1. The event will begin nightly at 7:00 p.m., but closing times change throughout the season. Tickets to Halloween Horror Night are $54 and are available for purchase online. If you’re a horror buff, take it from someone who has been to all of the Southern California attractions, Halloween Horror Nights is the one to go to.
