The Smell of Lemon Pledge Occurs Naturally in the Wild

One of the herb plants we bought recently is something known as Lemon Balm. After getting some culinary plants, this one caught my eye. You can chew the leaf, or put it in tea, maybe even cakes, but I haven't tried that yet.

The thing that's tantalizing about the smell is that it's lemony, and sweet, with an almost licorice afterthought.

Smelling one yesterday, I realized it smells eerily close to Lemon Pledge — if not that, then the industrial smell of air freshener in a bus stop bathroom. It kind of ruined it for me.

    Herbs are GREAT!

Actually, if you stop and think about it, there are many types of natural products that work as well as those chemically things. It's better to use the natural products than screw up the environment with chemicals.

As for the Lemon Pledge...Just switch your furniture polish, and then you can enjoy the lemon balm once more.
