The perfect Valentine's Day Gift

So, it's Valentine's Day again — that beloved and dreaded day that all women love and most men seem to forget until the last minute. (You know who you are guys!) Every year we are reminded relentlessly that there is one day out of the year that we are forced to show affection. For most of us the show of our love and affection is not really a burden but finding a way to show that love in the form of a Valentine's Day gift is an ongoing pain in our neck. How do we find that personal, love related (yet affordable) gift to show our love to our beloved ball and ch... love of our life? Just kidding ladies! Just kidding...

Well, I've made a list of the most important elements that a gift should have and then I've provided a suggestion for this year to get you started. Unfortunately you can't run out and get this gift tonight but consider it for next year... or if you want to extend Valentine's Day to an unspecified day a month from now, you will surely gain some major points with your loved one for the surprise. Chocolates as a Valentine's Day gift will throw her off the trail and then you can save the real gift for later.

Anyway, this is the first element of my gift suggestion — Surprise.

Surprise - Give her the gift when she is not expecting it

There is one thing that 99.9% of women love — and that's a surprise. They love flowers for no reason at all, a special unexpected day away for some fun, and they love a romantic Valentine's Day gift with this special twist. Even if it isn't actually Valentine's Day! This is element #1 and although it is not a required element, it will surely get you on track to scoring the most possible points. Give her the gift early in the morning or even give it to her the night before when she is not expecting it.
