Brian, you add nothing to this discussion but hatefulness and the call to ban someone whom you simply dislike. What value are you adding to this site or discussion.

Whereas, MRL for starters offers at a minimum a vision of what a modern prophet might sound like. Hint: They probably would NOT be all nicey-nice and normal. They'd certainly sound crazy and cause people to hate them - much as MRL does here. In the Jewish/Christian tradition, best I understand it from Sunday school a big part of most prophets job is to wag the finger and demand repentance.

Far as I can tell Brian, your comments are generally nothing but poo. Perhaps we should just ban YOU.

Ruvy, I appreciate fully your sensitivity to actual or perceived anti-Semitism. But your Old Testament prophets spent a good part of their time denouncing their fellow Jews for getting off the track. Plus, I've only ever seen maybe one or two minor comments from MRL that might be seen as swipes at Jews.

Maybe I'm too generous cause I like her, but I do not see any particular strain of anti-Semitism from her publicly or privately. She's going to tend to take some swipes at everyone and everything. Cut ol' girl a little slack.

I have found a website Miracle Sceptic that shows that many of the 70000 that day saw nothing. Also, there were too many people seeing different things. The sun did not really move that day. If that is not one of the false signs that Jesus warned about would happen in the last days then what is? You don't hear of Mary ever warning believers to be careful about looking at the sun and think about how many people looking into the sun today at apparitions sites and who report seeing it move and spin and Mary appearing in it and the next thing they need treatment for damaging their eyes. Fatima started this trend and it has caused little else but self-deception and injury since. Its no wonder believers in the Devil see it as his work. Plus the Fatima Virgin expects us to accuse people of being bad enough to go to Hell forever - you need very strong evidence to say things like that and where is the evidence? Until she proves this hell exists and that people go there she can't blame us for considering her the victim of vindictive wishful thinking.

    Brother Al:

I hadn't noticed this comment from February, or I certainly would have answered you then.

I cut MRL slack - a lot of slack. I asked her only to give me references to what she was saying out of the 1,700 comments that she herself posted at your invite here - so that I could attempt to understand her. And I got nothing but the back of her hand.

To my eyes, she did not prophesy. She made an awful big stink about a grilled cheese sandwich, though, or music that others allegedly stole from her. Ezekiel (G-d forbid I should put this woman in the same sentence with one of the leading Jewish prophets) did some nutty things that the jaded residents of Tel Aviv (that's not a typo - go read séfer yeHezkél yourself - he prophesied to the residents of Tel Aviv - in Babylon [Ezek. 2]) would have considered him nuts for doing. But then he came out and gave some serious prophecy - and detailed a Temple in Jerusalem - a temple that is the model we follow today.

There is a lot of yeHezkél's prophecy that would have looked absolutely nutty 2,500 years ago - consider what he wrote about gog, nasí méshekh v'tubál [Ezek. 38]. But now, it looks awful scary.

So, tempted though I was, I did not mock the woman. I've known others who have prophesied the future with stunning prescience.

And, I might add, Ezekiel was pretty pissed off at the way G-d kept dragging him by the hair (go read the text) back through time to drive home why He had allowed the destruction of the Temple by the Babylonians.

So, unlike some here I did not mock the woman. But, frankly, I don't miss her.

Edward was giving some interesting views on the secrets of Fatima as pro-Russia and anti West/Vatican when MaryReborn schreeched in. Sabotage?

Patrick notes that "there were too many people seeing different things." That could be an argument against it, but then my immediate thought there was the day of Pentecost. According to that story, apostles were speaking whatever language came out of their mouths - and people were hearing it in their own multiplicity of languages. Could be that there were miracles being performed by God in people's minds as well as or instead of in the outside air. Just a thought.

The apparition of The Virgin of Fatima is a clear proof that God is calling to all the humanity through The apparition of The Virgin of Fatima.

The humanity has to have Faith and Confidence, because these are the most important tools for the way of The Lord.

We have to be like children who live in innocense, purity and they are espontaneous.

All the people have to have a humble heart and full of Love for seeing the things of God.
God is Love and no one can limit the manifestations of God.
