The Holy Grail To Hot News

"Blogging is the wave of the future" is the statement that Tom Green made on the new Attack Of The Show, a G4 revamped version of The Screen Savers. He was right but he may have been a little late on that one. Blogging is the new internet rage that enables anyone to publish anything, anywhere, anytime, with a few clicks of a mouse. You may want to give the heads up on a deal at Circuit City, give updated reports on your new born, or explain why you are the way you are. Whatever the topic may be you can be pretty sure it's fair game. As a blogger you are your own news organization and it is your job to keep up to the minute. The two sites that I mention may end up being your holy grail the latest and greatest floating about our world.

http://Digg.com

If you haven't ever visited this site you have been missing out my friend. I stumbled over this site not to long ago myself. I was looking for site that could give me regularly updated information that I use to comment on and report in my blog. Well this site has proven to be all that and more with updates every few minutes, user submitted content, and quality site descriptions. Once you load up the main page you will find the most popular stories listed. If you click the "digg here!" link it will list the latest user submitted information in chronological order. This page also allows you to sort all of the stories by the category of newest, oldest, most diggs, fewest diggs, and most comments. If you want to keep up to date then you will find this site invaluable. All in one is always better.

http://del.icio.us/

I will let del.icio.us explain itself. Here is the info provided on it main page.
--------------------------------------
social bookmarks
» del.icio.us is a social bookmarks manager. It allows you to easily add web pages you like to your personal collection of links, to categorize those sites with keywords, and to share your collection not only among your own browsers and machines, but also with others.
» Once you've registered for the service, you add a simple bookmarklet to your browser. When you find a web page you'd like to add to your list, you simply select the del.icio.us bookmarklet, and you'll be asked for information about the page. You can add descriptive terms to group similar links together and add notes for yourself or for others.
» You can access your list of links from any web browser. Your links are shown to you with those you've added most recently at the top. In addition to viewing by date, you can also view all links with a specific keywords (you define your own keywords as you add the links), or search your links for keywords.
» What makes del.icio.us a social system is its ability to let you see the links that others have collected, as well as showing you who else has bookmarked a specific site. You can also view the links collected by others, and subscribe to the links of people whose lists you find interesting.
---------------------------------------
I found it not to be as useful and informative as Digg.com but it is another good place to look if you cannot find anything good on Digg.
