I urge you to take the time to view the segment which offers a very sensitive treatment of the complex issues facing a woman attempting to leave an abusive situation. Even if you have not had domestic abuse affect your family or social circle directly, it behooves us all to be educated on this issue and to have come sense of where to turn should we ever be in a position to be a resource for someone else.
