Pete Sampras was great at parlaying his tennis talent into a prosperous career as a tennis star, but Sampras, having trouble putting together a deal to sell his Beverly Hills home, may have his wife, Bridgette Wilson, crying "Foul!"
Sampras sold his Orlando, Fla. home at a profit for $1.575 million in 1999, parting for a new life in Beverly Hills, where celebrities and pop stars play. He bought a home there, which was recently put on the market for $3.75 million. When a deal fell through on the house, he reduced the price to $3.5 million. Sampras reportedly screamed "You cannot be serious" to his real estate agent when told the deal fell through, leading neighbors to believe McEnroe bought the house.
Sampras and Wilson recently bought a house, which includes tennis courts, for around $8 million. [St. Petersburg Times].
