Shark, you too can start a feature column -- just let me know!

The list is primarily there for readers, who were finding it difficult to keep up with their favorite features. It used to be on the sidebar, but it keeps getting longer.

The Fresh Comments is probably going to come off of the bottom to avoid clutter, now that I've been able to make room in the sidebar for them again.

By the way, getting back on-topic, the genius of this quiz is in the scoring. You can only possibly score in the first, third, and fourth categories, and only the third if you're really, really careful.

Nice! I somehow missed this the first time around.

Firstly: i'll have to agree with Shark, "Change is good" is a dangerous assumption (handy quote: "all assumptions are dangerous, even this one"). Change isn't good, nor is it bad, it's just change, it just happens, all the time, continuously, wether we take the time to witness it (like all of you have done over this site), or wether it passes us by (like a 40-yr old trainee at Macdonalds).

Secondly: I live in Australia so the Confederate flag and the American Civil War mean shit all to me.

Assumption and danger or not, I'll stick with what I said... because staying the same is fucking boring. That's what causes people to end up hating their lives... those orgasmic joys of routine, monotony and consistency. Yawn.

But since Shark is a stickler for details, perhaps I will revise my closer and say 'evolution is good'. But then the intelligent design people might find that offensive. Hmmm.

Christopher, don't worry, you are doing good. But tell me one thing: Did you or someone else ban the Troll?

All black people are black people. All white people are not rednecks. There is the difference.

ANTHONY: I've done a lot of editing and even deleting of comments when people have gone too far but I still haven't banned anybody at all. I prefer to try other approaches first and so far it's worked out okay.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't ban someone if I was left with no other choice but I am always disappointed when I have to edit or delete comments and the way that is handled is kept under constant review.

I think the Troll is/was a comedy character invented by another commenter as a literary device though I'm not sure on that; if so, they could/should return at any time. If anybody else has banned him/her/it, or anyone else for that matter, I haven't been told about it nor seen any talk of it, not since the days of M*rk Th* S*n* *nd S*ns*bl*.
