Sade,
I just wanted to say several things....first...I absolute love the topics you choose to post/comment about. You are a breath of fresh air at this site. Don't let anyone dissuade you from posting.
Second, I too am sorry about your ordeal. You must redouble your efforts to normalize your life and you must never let these "adult entertainers" take from you that which is not theirs. I have never seen the pixs but I can tell from your writing you are a wonderfully engaging lady. You also seem to have an air of sentuality about you. I wish you (and your husband) all the best and sincerely hope you are able to put this all behind you someday soon. The female body is a beautiful thing (just look at the Sheridan-Owens-ABC incident) and you have nothing to feel ashamed about. Continue to hold your head high and please share some more of your thoughts with us. We seem to be in great need of some worthwhile discussions/topics. I mean how many times must we relive the stupid election?

you mean this isn't Groundhog Day?

hhhmmm...I wonder who the real culprit is here. It may be a case of some sort of blackmail or social vandelism or whatever.
These personal sites are not very regulated. I mean, they probably do what they can, but I could put anyone I want on there. A face shot with Photoshop would do the trick. Whoever entered your information is where to start to solve this injustice
oh gosh....

dear peter -
you have truly made my day. this is hte kind of thing i really needed to hear here, and i had heard someone doubt the veracity of this, which really disturbed me a great deal. imagine that. like a rape victim not being believed - it's always different when it's you.
but yes, i must not let this make me cower and hide and be ashamed of anything ihave, and to do is to let them win and to give up in a way and to shut out joy.
some people want to make the most beautiful things sordid -- and sadly, too often they succeed. but true beauty, sensuality, sexuality, love making all of this could never be sordid if it is true. so they can film and photograph all they want and ascribe all kinds of nasty connotations, but at the end of the day, you have to believe you are good and are worth it; if you don't, no one else will.
i'm glad i posted this here. i was afraid for so long and went to therapy etc etc (who wouldn't!). and it's been hard, to say the least.
But the reception here has been great and enforcing and affirming and i am so so so grateful to all of you and to eric for providing the forum for this.
i know it's a rough topic and i did hesitate, but i'm glad i wrote this, adn it encourages me to share more -- and hopefully, through sharing, i can also help someone else.
then i will have succeeded.
thx. again, and all best to you ---
sade

My goodness. I am so sorry. I do hope you can get these mouth-breathers shut down, and even more, I pray that God bless you with protection and peace. My heart goes out to you!

if you could stomach it sadi, i suggest you take this story to the papers (assuming you haven't already) and possibly even tv. I haven't seen any news stories about specific cases, although once or twice over the past few years there have been articles that ever-so-briefly touched upon the world of voyeur porn. I wouldn't be surprised if the main reason for there not being any in-depth stories on it is that victims who realise they are victims are too embarrassed/scared to come forward.
I would be more than happy to add, if needed (as a "backup") that on the p2p filesharing networks, there are at least thousands of pics and hundreds of videos with names that suggest they are "proper" voyeur porn (as in, not setup for some cheesy porno with a "plot"). Now, i am well aware that the nature of p2p networks is such that you just can't use solely filenames as a means of judging content, but if even a small fraction of these are for real, that's still quite alot. More than there should be, for sure.

Sadi, All my best regards to you and I'm
hoping you'll soon receive some sort of
legal consolation regarding these f'ing
creeps. This is just utterly horrifying
and almost unbelieveable. My heart and my
prayers go out to you.

Sadi,
I had a similar experience with fuckspy.
I met a woman via the internet. She secretly put cameras in my home (and already had them in hers) and recorded the intimate aspects of our relationship for four months-pretending she was in love with me-then disappeared. I have considered reporting this to the FBI, however, the shame and pain have caused reluctance. I was in love with her. She is actually a professional actress with an agent listed on IMDB.com so she can be found. I hesitate for the scandal. I am a well known attorney. I hope your efforts to apprehend these criminals meet with success.

dear David:
I"d really be interested to hear more about what happened to you. YOu can email me privately if you like. I understand the shame completely. It was very very hard for me to take this to the FBI, but as fate would have it, i had a girlfriend who was working for the FBI and SHE encouraged me to report it to one ofher friends in Internet Crime and Child Porn etc. - so that was the connection and i'm really glad that i did it.
That said, there is probably a lot more i could do and would like to do. I'd like to get those pictures back, but MORE, i'd like to feel safe in my own home and so far, i still don't. every noise scares me and i feel like i'm being paranoic, but at the same time, i know this really happened - it's a hard thing. And it's also a thing that, like rape, isolates people because too many people find this "unbelievable" and don't believe the victim (i hate that word, but i guess it's the only work applicable here). I think that with this kind of disbelief, it's very hard to come forward.
I was absolutely shocked and horrified to find out that some other women did not believe me. Imagine if they wre on my jury etc.? They would say i what, made the whole thing up? That the pictures, cameras etc., were all a contrivance of my paranoic mind? I dont' think so, but the thing is, it's so damn weird that you almost want to believe that yourself because it's better than the truth, which is pretty freakin' sad.
in any event, if you ever want to chat or anything, i'm about most of the time and would welcome an email from you. You can get it from Eric here, or post here again and i'll send it to you.
Be well, and do be in touch and as ever, thanks for reading. i'm glad you found this -- maybe it's easier to not feel so alone.
Maybe we can shut fuckspy down if we all came forward... imagine that...
s.r.p.

Sadi,
Feel free to contact me via my personal email. I am a neophyte and am unfamiliar with blogging protocol; from your note I assume you can obtain it from this site?

Sadi,
I was raped in college. The incident was video taped without my consent/or knowledge and is now posted on a website somewhere... I only found out because someone I worked with found it or knew the guy who raped me. This person decided it would be funny to screen this tape for everyone at work. After complaining to management and asking for the tape - I got nowhere.... I have no job and no tape. The sociopath my former company is protecting is somehow spreading this (probably via e-mail and links) to places I work at now.... (I am temping) This has just prevented me from being offered a full-time position at a place was temping at - no one wants to tell me about the tape/or where to find it for fear of being sued. However, it seems like a lot of people have seen it. Do you have any advice on how to find this tape? Anything at all would be very helpful. - J
37 - sadi ranson-polizzotti
dear J:
my advice is simple and i think you need to do one or all of the following: go to www.fbi.gov and find their Internet crimes division and file a formal complaint against anyone who is promoting this tape as it is damaging your emotional health, financial wellbeing and your future. In short, it is taking your life away from you.
You need to hire an attorney who specializes in sex crimes, preferably voyeurism and internet sex crims and more, as someone said to me, if you can stomach it, take it to the authorities and have them take it to teh news media; if certain people within large corporations are doing this, believe me, the corportaion does not want to be held LIABLE because they will be sued as well.
In fact, your BEST betis to go after the CORPORATION and they will, believe me, put a stop to this shit right away because they do not want their name involved in any of this. Going after the individuals may be personally satisfying, but ultimately, it will get you nowhere. Go to the newsmedia, call local and public stations and write more about this or i can even interview you if you are willing to go on record and get your story OUT THERE with the names of the companies. As long as you can verify what you are saying, then the story can run.
Let me know how you plan to proceed. I will help you in any way i can, but please, first things first - file a police report with your local police (start a paper trail and insist on it, even if they do not understand the crime, tell them you have had a violation of your rights and have been sexually assaulted and feel assaulted repeatedly. That this was w/out your consent - that IS a crime, as far as i know.
One question: does the tape have sound? in some states, that makes a difference, believe it or not, so find out.
Again, do not waste your time with the small fish. go after the big corporations with an attorney and the media at your side with a 'cease and desist' letter. Trust me, they'll take you seriously then...
be in touch and my best to you,
sadi

Thank you for responding. This has been a nightmare. I believe that the tape does have sound. From what I heard my co-workers describe
(I mean make fun of) from the tape. I heard two of them count the number of times I said no, which from my recollection must have been at least four. I am still so emotionally distraught over all of this. I have crying spells and tend to lose my patience very easily. I don't feel safe at all. I still can't believe that they wouldn't give me the tape when I promised to sign away the right to sue. I know that sounds unbelievably naive, but I was more concerned about stopping the distribution of this thing. I wish every day I had had the courage to go to the hospital and police back then, but I felt so stupid for trusting this guy (from college). Who I had known for two years! And I thought it was ok to hang with him alone. He definitely drugged my drink b/c I don't even remember leaving the frat house. But I do remember having only two drinks (beer). He gave me the second - which I took very, very, very stupid....
I wonder why my co-workers screened this thing for everyone to see - they realized it was an assault after a while... which makes me think that the person who is responsible for bringing it into the firm instructed them to turn off the sound. I know I resisted as much as I could back then. I am pretty strong for a girl. A friend told me that I was lucky that I wasn't beaten, strangled and left for dead somewhere. Maybe b/c it wasn't so brutal .... maybe that's why they were so cruel. Don't they realize that something like that could happen to them, or their wives/daughters? I wonder would they laugh at that too?
I am contacting the proper authorities. I can't let this go. I let it go so many years ago and it's affected me in ways you can't imagine. The sociopath that brought this into the firm thinks it's funny and he threatened to have it follow me wherever I go. By that - I surmise - whenever a company calls for a reference - he will find out where I am and forward this thing via e-mail to ruin my reputation... He has already done this - as I just lost a job offer that I was 90% sure to get. (after working there as a temp) I hope the FBI can help. You know - you just don't expect this behavior from other women. The other women in the firm also jumped on the bandwagon and made fun of what happened to me. Particularly one part - when I screamed. I just don't get why?
I am definitely considering the news - but first I have to cover all of my bases and go to the FBI and police.
I also found out that I was set up by another guy that night - to be assaulted. I heard that at the place that was going to offer me a job. And that was really creepy! Apparently, some of these people know each other. It's a very small industry - you know how people talk.
This whole thing is so bizarre - Is anyone else going through something like this?
Thank you again for your advice - I will definitely explore all of those avenues. And I will keep you posted.

Sadi,
Where did you find these hidden cameras and wire tapping devices? What type of bug detectors do you use? Any recommendations?
40 - had enough
Does anyone have any advice on how to get back at individuals who are intent on ruining a person's life for fun? i.e., hiring hookers to make fake sex videos and circulating it via e-mail to co-workers, and managers, phone calls to managers, etc....... Is this happening to anyone else?
41 - Chris
This doesn't surprise me in the least. Here's a wierd coincidence. I have a niece in Europe. We chat with each other in a chatroom and I can see her list of friends. One of her friends is very pretty, about 17 years old. Some time later, I got a spam email about a dating site with supposed pictures of real members. Guess whose picture was in there? Except they said she was a 21 year old from Toronto. The 'net is a very dangerous place for women, especially young woman.
On a related note...why are so many young women, especially college-aged women, willing to appear in videos that vary from risque to outright pornographic? I went to school in the mid-80s and I can't think of any of my classmates consenting to that. Seems women are marching resoultely backwards.
