Luxury and waterfront homebuying are the two hottest real estate trends, so it should be no surprise that Paris Hilton recently purchased her very own buxom luxury pad in California's lovely Hollywood Hills area, even though Britney Spears' perfume sales currently exceed Ms. Hilton's in sales volume. If prices continue to increase in Hollywood Hills, though, Paris will more than easily make up for the lagging perfume sales by selling her home in the next one to three years. Hilton, 24, paid just under $3 million for the Spanish/Tuscan-style villa, said her uncle and broker, Mauricio Umansky of Hilton & Hyland. Hilton's father, Rick Hilton, founded the real estate firm."Hollywood Hills is a hip, trendy place close to all the action," Umansky said. "And she fell in love with the house."
