My Xmas Hopes...

"That Time Of Year" is fast approaching once again.

For my first xmas here at Blogcritics.org, I would like to present a list of my "xmas hopes". Stuff I hope for to happen soon (i.e. within the next year). Some of it is serious, some of it not so - feel free to add your own.

I hope:

The trouble in checnya will end

The us will offer an amnesty and then proper aid to the people of iraq, including allowing iraqi companies to get Rebuilding contracts

Israel and palestine can come to a truly peaceful agreement

Tony blair loses the next election

The music industry sees sense and embraces p2p as the way forward for sales of music

There are less crappy comic book film adaptations than this year

The average literacy of the 'net increases

There are less shootings in my home city

Aliens make contact with us, and offer discount out-of-galaxy holidays

We, as a race, can learn some self-control, and start respecting the other species on this planet, before it's too late

I don't have too much difficulty getting a job

Hell, that I graduate

A cure for cancer is found
