MPAA sues video fileswappers

The MPAA has filed the first wave of lawsuits against apparent fileswappers and released a program to detect illegal media files. No details yet on the suits or the program itself. News report at MSNBC

The trade group said the program would be available for the Windows computer operating system on a special Web site established to educate consumers about copyrights. The name or exact nature of the program was not described Tuesday.

    please don't tell me they're gonna expect people to download and run the prog, to have it report back to the MPAA anyone who has illegal media files present...
