Personally, my Mars is broken in Libra. Mars shows how you get what you want. It shows how you hunt, how you get the man/woman, and also how you take out a enemy. The problem with Mars in Libra is that Libra is nice. Libra is not actually any nicer than anyone else, but they do have to act as if they are. This is their job on the planet.
This means I may want to kick your ass or hit you with a bat... but the second I think that, I also realize that these are not “nice” things to do. Since I’m not allowed to disturb the peace, that plate does not crash down on top of your head - which believe me I regret. The result of all this? Well no one is that nice, so when Libra blows - look out.
Mars is well placed in Aries, the sign it rules and the sign opposite Libra. Aries Mars throws the first punch, which everyone knows gives a clear advantage. It knows instinctively that “nice” is incongruent with war. Libra Mars wants to discuss the unpleasantness over dinner - Aries is going to have Libra for dinner.
Worse, if Libra does manage to strike it can only use the same amount of force that has been used against them...a nd probably just a slight bit less. The reason is that Libra must balance everything. You hit me with force of 10, and I hit back with force of 9.8. Why? Because this way, I’m the nice one. See how ridiculous?
Mars is also very well placed in Scorpio. Where Aries is overt (that's their fist smashing into your face), an enemy with a Scorpio Mars will subtly dismantle you from the inside out using elaborate covert techniques. Where Aries will kick your ass in two seconds, a Scorpio Mars is much more insidious. Scorpio has the poker face in the zodiac, and will lie in wait or perhaps slowly undermine you in a myriad of ways. Many of these will be psychological, Scorpio’s natural playground. Undercover cop? That’s a Scorpio Mars technique. You don’t know what’s happening until you’re in the bag.

Venus in Scorpio is very sexual. My fiance has this venus and seems to be obsess with sex. He is also controlling and jealous. He's a sag. So he lightens up sometimes. I have Mars in Libra and had a partner with Mars in Libra for several years. God, what a match that was. Some of the best sex of my life and what I noticed is we both were inclined to take care of the partner... which was a terrific thing to have turned on you.
So i would say mars in libra is co-dependent and you can wind up acting in the interest of the other leaving yourself high and dry.

I am in love with this Capricorn male with his MARS in SCORPIO. I have Venus in Pisces, so to me, he is so amazing. His feelings run deep, and I want to be in every part of his world. If he is jealous it would actually turn me on. He is also obsessed with sex, which is a paradox in a sense because he is a virgin. He is INCREDIBLY sexual. I have never got turned on by anyone before, and those guys have had sex before!! My sun is in Aries, but my Ascendent is in Scorpio, and I've been told that the Scorpio Rising tends to dominate the whole natal chart. I have my mars in Taurus, so I am verrry slow at times, ,but his Venus is in Capricorn so we complement each other, we desire each other, we rally feel each other on a physical and romantic level. Emotionally? Well my moon is in Taurus and his in Aquarius, but we do have sextiles in Sun-Moon aspects.
I think the best Mars sign would be Libra. It seems they can still get what they want without having to be aggressive about it. Libra is an incredibly elegant sign. My favorite actress, Sophia Bush has her mars in this placement, and I must say she is incredibly beautiful. Mars in Leo also seems to have sooo much energy, something I wish I had all the time.

Mars in Capricorn best of fighters, bull! First of all, I think it more depends on where the mars is in in relationship to the sun and other placements. Conjunction is what is key to making a strong figher. The closer to the sun, the stronger and more bright the mars. Mars in Aries is the most direct, straightforward and strongest placement. Failure is not an option to these people. This is followed by the tactical Mars in scorpio who are willing to fight to the death. Mars in leo are also a handful. Mars in taurus has a natural advantage when it comes to ground defense and takedown defense. It's hard to stay on a bull. As for the commentor above, Sara. We have exactly the same placements. I have Mars in Taurus and I know we try to avoid fights and that includes the ones we are confident we can win because we want to keep the peace and enjoy life. To me fighting is the lowest of human behaviors, I only do it when someone has wrong me seriously or pushed me too far. My only question is... What happens when the martial arts master IS Mars in Aries?
