Math Homework and Poker

I've finished about 21 years of school according to my mortgage application. 21 years of slogging through English essays, math problems, science problems, physics, more math, and learning to code in already obsolete languages. The worst of it all was the homework. It seems like every class ended with "don't forget the 20 problems for tomorrow."

Finally, I have a steady job, and the time available to relax I sometimes use for poker. My favorite book on the subject (so far) is Bob Ciaffone's Middle Limit Poker. An amazing book. It will take a complete poker acolyte and make them a master. Bob Ciaffone, the poker coach, steps you through each part of a hand of holdem, and provides every insight imaginable. Rather than bore you with 400 pages of prose, he makes you actively read and try to manage hundreds (?thousands) of real-life poker situations from pre-flop to post all the way to the river. He brings to life both the poker heart as well as the statistics involved in every decision.

This amazing book will take a poker slacker and make them an expert - spinning the numbers to their great benefit. To reach the heights he makes available, however...don't forget the 20 problems for tomorrow.
