You guys are unspeakably cool! We just hit our 100th post for the day at a little after 8pm ET. This was my secret goal all along - with 3 1/2 hours to go, we can easily hit 130 or more. There's a fairly new game over at http://www.smrealms.de called Space Merchant Realms SMR is basically a "close clone" of the original (but since deceased) Space Merchant game. However, there is one big difference. The original SM was run by a lazy and indifferent staff who allowed cheating, such as multiple accounts, to run rampant. Even worse, the staff had a tendency to favor one team of players over the others and did favors for them that helped ruin the game for everyone else. In large part, this failure to be fair and impartial admins was responsible for the original game's going out of business.
The guys running Space Merchant Realms have learned from the mistakes committed by the staff of the original game. They have been hard working and thoroughly impartial. That being the case, if you have some time to kill and want to play a challenging massively multiplayer online game that's perfectly free to play, then I hereby recommend that you try SMR.
