And: WHAT other collector? An eBay seller who sold you that pink Happy Birthday "back up dress" that was a $400 buy. And now Otto has become an appraiser as well? Just like Mr. Roesler? Funny, he can not tell us why the crlers were pulled and why he is showing 98.9% disaster material on Marilyn, but he can put this particular black dress at $50K?
Double wow.
77 - Mark Bellinghaus
Regarding the article (mentioned in comment#73) on Otto: CHRISTIE'S would NEVER make such a tacky statement! They are absolutely discrete. If you do not believe, call Christie's NYC, please. The items discribed, the ones Otto states he bought, he did NOT win at the big auction in 1999! He is talking about Lot # 139 from the Christie's auction on September 12 (due to September 11 it was postponed and held on September 20th) and that lot went for $823. The china was sold on eBay as I remember seeing it, and those very strange looking pieces did not catch my eyes and they went for only a few hundred dollars anyhow. But I must say this again. Since Anna Strasberg is silent as a grave in this matter, we can only assume that she knows about the ongoing scam.
She would sue people for printing Marilyn with a cigarette in her mouth, and now she does nothing, while Marilyn is being slandered by all of them? Slandered with misportray, her underwear, the fake one of course, on display and trash presented as her "personal belongings". That is really insane and can't continue. It needs to be stopped.
What Otto paid at auction for a few real items that made their way arround to be resold stands in no relation at all to that high amount they opened this exhibit and claimed it being worth $10million.
I never said that ALL the items are fake. I am sticking with the statement that 98.9% of the claimed Marilyn Monroe items are absolutely bogus and fantasy creations of June DiMaggio and Robert W. Otto. And that Mark A. Roesler is appraising them to such an amazing high amount ($8.75million), should tell everyone who has no clue about his part in this, what they are up to.

Mark,
Sorry it has taken me so long to post to your new blog. We are in busy season and it took me two sittings to read your new article!
I LOVE IT!
I especially liked viewing the "real" and "fake" photos -- and my favorite is the "horrified" pic of Marilyn you have up top. You did a great job explaining the case and what has happened up until now. It is nice for people who don't have a chance to see the exhibit to see the photos, and see what proof is out there REAL vs. FAKE. GREAT JOB!
I was also very proud to become a new owner of two actual copies of the L.A. INDEPENDENT of which you are on the front cover talking about the Marilyn Monroe scandal! WOO HOO! Should I ever find time to get my butt to LA I will bring them for you to sign.
Keep up the good work and we support you as usual from Baltimore.
I have to take another day to read the actual blogs this far as I have only read the article as of yet.
Good luck and stay strong!
Cindy

hahaha Thanks! I just felt that this photo in the beginning really would express Miss Monroe's reaction, would she have the chance to walk through that ship.
Thanks Cindy! We all missed you as we need engaged people like you in this matter. I just got some important "June-news" as the 48 HOURS special is airing this weekend; and a hot source told me, that the sweet lady with the trademark banks and the awefully bitter and fictitious stories about Marilyn Monroe, has been a victem of the scissors, with other words, she has been cut out including the some other very questionable people (I do not really want to name them). So--this is definetely the power of blog. In case she is not in anymore, as that strange MJ& MMFan always suggested that we would see photos etc.! I simply could not wait for that show and her appearance. She is a great stand-up comediean, but friend of Marilyn? NEVER! She met her as often as I did: NEVER!
(I know I've said that one before...lol)
But maybe she found her way back into the show. It was officially supposed to air last February, TWO month ago, but I guess somebody stumbled over my first blog...! Just like the people from Entertainment Tonight, who then edited out the entire Otto/van Praagh sequence.
Can you feel it? That is the power of blog.
Please come back soon, Cindy.
There are also tons and tons of links in this very article--if you want to take a look at Mark Rosler's plaque on which he put his own name to show off how generous he is with money that he received from a fraudulent exhibit, click on :THE NOBLESVILLE LEDGER.COM and anything that is purple is a link in this! For the people who have not much knowledge about what we are talking about, the MM quote at the end is very recommended.

Mark,
I just read the letter that CMG sent you about using the domain name. What cracks me up is the fact they actually expect you to transfer it to them, and if not, they will seek MONETARY AWARDS.
I think the name "CMG" should stand for:
CONSTANT MONEY GREED
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers
Cindy
81 - Sarah Vernon
hee hee Cindy like that or it could be suggested it stands for:
Cheating Marilyn's Grace!
82 - Mark Bellinghaus
Sarah & Cindy! Wow--you guys are too much! LOL
How about:
"CMG" = COMMIT MARILYN GRIME
83 - Ernest Cunningham
Two snippets I want to remind you of:
In the April 10 Wall Street Journal story on the greed of Anna Strasberg: "estranged stepson John Strasberg says he and sister Susan were close to Ms. Monroe, but they were disinherited by their father and never received any of the Monroe earnings. "I'm not sure I would want any of it," he says. "I find it fundamentally sad that people who never knew Marilyn continue to want to profit from her, and in the lowest form possible."
The second snippet is from MARILYN MONROE: THE BIOGRAPHY: Christmas 1957, Marilyn gave her pearls (from the Emperor of Japan) to Paula. She gave Susan Strasberg a Chagall sketch. And: "Most extravagant of all was her gift to John Strasberg, then 18 and, Marilyn felt, an unhappy, often ignored outsider to his own family. To him she calmly signed over the ownership of her Thunderbird, knowing he longed for but could not afford a car."
Okay, we know what kind of generous, giving person Marilyn was. The mystery, to me, is: what kind of people are those Strasbergs? I think they're scary--and none more than current reigning Queen of Royalties Anna Strasberg.
When I find it, I want to quote from the shocking Vanity Fair magazine story of several years ago. (Remind me if I forget, okay?)
84 - Usona Chastain
CMG standing for Constant Money Greed --
I love that! so appropriate!
And I might ask: does Roesler
really rhyme with "rustler"?
as in, "Boss! boss! rustlers are
stealing the cattle! and the
hair curlers! and the opera glasses!"
"Head 'em off at the pass!"
85 - Alton from Atlanta
My compliments to Miss Jill for her research into DNA, and the unlikely possibility of determining ANYTHING by exhuming Marilyn's body. This is just more fodder for the tabloids.
86 - Ernest Cunningham
Someone said that June DiMaggio has been deleted
from the upcoming Marilyn edition of "48 Hours Murder Mystery" -- can someone confirm this? I was so looking forward to seeing that silly old thing again!
Is she ailing? Did she trip over her pizza pan?
87 - Mark Bellinghaus
No, I bet she was just boo'd off that show. I spoke to the producer Anthony Vendetti the day we went to the press opening; when I called him a month after the opening, I told him about the hair curler, but he really did not want to know anything. He went to Greg Schreiners home and they filmed the usual footage that is in every MM collecting docu and report.
But it would have been cool if they would have jumped on this wagon instead.
Well, we will see, but I bet it is going to be a luke warm piece on Marilyn and those death rumours of course and whatever else, but I bet not one single world that the Monroe world is being screwed like never in history before.
Can someone make a show about the wonderful business Anna Strasberg has been doing?
Since Marilyn's death, think about this, they are making $7MILLION a year +/- so that means since MM died, 44 years ago, do the math yourself, that brings the total to, are you ready?
$308 MILLION DOLLAR!!! THREE HUNDRED AND EIGHT MILLION DOLLAR.
Plus that little extra from the 1999Christie's auction that only made her $13.5 MILLION!
Yet people take it as normal and okay, that Lee, the late husband from ANNA FAILED to give MM's belongings to the friends of Marilyn, the ones from the actors studio.
Watch the little info about this matter, click on the purple MM quote at the end of our article, and it tells you pretty much what is going on, money wise I mean.
Okay, maybe poor Anna did not sack in that much since MM died, but I bet it has brought them at least $200MILLION minimum!
The smoking gun has an archive and you can click on the last will and testament, read it and see what I am talking about, the Strasberg clan was only named on fourth place. Here is the link:
Strasberg was listed under d)--even Marilyn's secretary May Reis, higher listed. She was named as number 2nd! I got so many papers that proof how early Anna had her paws on the MM belongings. She knew that the old and rottening in storage pieces would be worth gold some day. The scent these items carry are authenticity of its own.
Unfortunately.
That greedy woman could have at least saved all these pieces and opened up a museum.
I remember protesters in NYC when we stood in line to get into Christie's who handed out flyers and they were asking to boycott that auction. I felt so for these people, but I tried to save and keep the items I could afford together and re-united, like her welcome bench with the adobe painting, that was a magical moment, when these two pieces came back together, after being separated for 37 years.
Anyhow, if Mr. Vendetti is reading this, and we know that especially TV show people are reading this.
How about a special on the biggest MM scam in history?
The usual death theory and all that stuff, we have heard that so many many times. People who claim to have talked to MM or claim to not have picked up the phone, as if they had called ID in 1962--people who are making a fortune themself on telling lies about their friendship with Marilyn, bla bla bla!
Face it people: MM was lonely! Dispite her huge success and being still so beautiful. She seemed to have lived in ISOLATION!
The phone hardly rung during the last interview and MM was fed up with all the crap and what people did to her, said about her. Mr. Hugh Hefner who now claims to have been MM's friend, he offered her a total nude photo shoot and Schiller was going to take those photographs.
MM was thinking about it, seriously considering.
But Hef could have just picked her up, invited her to his mansion and entertained her a bit; but he did NOT!
Now she is dead and we can only imagine, was she alive, how she would be and with whom she would be, how she would look like and if she would be happy.
Another Elizabeth Taylor, maybe?
Another paper is printing an article about this blog, will post it when it is out, since the other "team" is scaring off reporters, we can not really release the name of the magazine yet.

OMG, MARK! That sleazebag gigilo Jose Bolanos "the last love of her life"?! GAG! PUKE! Seriously! Although I have some issues with Donald Spoto's bio, he so throughly discredited this loser (along with Slatzer and Jeanne Carmen and Anthony Summers), I CANNOT believe you buy that he was nothing more than a Boy Toy because he wasn't!
As the upcoming DiMaggio auction proves, Joe was THE LOVE of her life! And the note the police found in MM's desk after her death "If I could only succeed in making you happy..." was addressed to Joe, not Senor Cockroach! Sorry to break the bad news to ya!
89 - Mark Bellinghaus
I understand your point, Lisa. But pictures speak louder than words and rumours. Look at the photos and to me MM looks really happy on those.
And it was also recorded that Marilyn made plans to fly to Mexico for the Mexican Independence day. What for, to introduce Joe to Jose? Do you believe that June myth that Joe and Marilyn were about to re-marry? MM was still Jewish and died as such.
Jose and Marilyn had plans for the future, and he came to visit her in Los Angeles. That is also recorded. Just because that does not fit so well into the MM history for some people, it is wrong to portray her as a life long Joe DiMaggio addict. It is also recorded and fact that DiMaggio would beat Marilyn. Why do you think they got divorced? Oh I know--because Joe was jealous because MM would shoot that famous scene where the dress flies up into the air? Rubbish. And why would Marilyn tell her houskeeper that when the phone rung:"If it's the Italian, I am not here."
That is documented and stands for it self. Oh, did she refer to Frank Sinatra, maybe?
I forgot that Otto has also some items on display that were "given to Marilyn by Frank sinatra."
Only problem is: how can Otto prove that they are real and were in fact Sinatra's presents.
Why would a newspaper print all the info about Bolanos, if he indeed was just a boy toy?
Not that easy. And there are also interviews with the Mexican screen writer and director in existence.
Donald Spoto wasn't there, he also did just some research on his own. There are tons of photos in existence which show Marilyn and Jose HAPPY, holding hands and kissing. But there are only a few shots of Marilyn and Joe, sitting on the beach in Florida and walking, but not holding hand or kissing.
Photos are prove on it's own.
MM decorated her hacienda all Mexican, and maybe she also like the idea of dating the Mexican writer. He must have meant something to her, since she took him to the Golden Globes and was holding his hands and enjoyed his company. But maybe it was just to make Joe jealous? You see, there could be so many interpretations. The note you mention was written many years earlier. And if you loved someone in your life, of course you keep some momentos, even though it is over and that person has become a close friend.
He was her ex-husband, fortunatley he was there for her, even lend her money for the home, which was returned to him after his death. Read the papers from her last will.
Shown in the smoking gun archive.
There is no doubt that Joe was one of the closest in Marilyn's life. No doubt at all. But he wasn't a saint either. Who is anyways.
Why do you think a family relative who has not proven her real idendity has used this fact(she is only an adopted DiMaggio, if at all) She has no pictures of herself and Marilyn, now claims she has photos of her and Joe. But do you have any idea how large his family was?

Just found another link from the shameful and ridiculous past of that exhibit.Check it out yourself.
The link provide you with some laughable and absurd images of wannabe MM memorabilia!
Look at that hidious and sweet teddy baer that was mentioned in June's interview at in the December 2005 Playboy. That was "retrieved" by June herself, including the pissa pan and the nightgown. Now she also changed her story on that one.
The furs are so classic and the dresses are simply a big Otto-joke!
Man, I still can not believe that this exhibit is running five month. But I doubt that they will move anywhere. Word of mouth and the help of internet and some recent news reports on the scandal shoud prevent these fraudsters to steal more dollars from Marilyn loving fans. So far they got away with telling their story to this scam. But soon it will be ours, in public and on national TV. Wonder how they feel then, after the thrift store finds are exploided as Jane Doe's underwear, but NEVER Marilyn Monroe's!
Here is the link it's worth watching that teddy baer and the dolls lined up on red velvet. $25 for this? What a nightmare.

i am not an expert in teddy bears, but that one pictured in the link above does look a bit to new .

There is actually another unnamed gentleman who lived in Mexico that I personally believe Marilyn's final attractions went to.
He fit MM's MO
1) Intellectual
2) Older
3) Writer
4) Married
5) Powerful
I have done a painful amount of research here and I have come to the conclusion Jose Bolanos was a forced upon distraction for MM because this particular man Marilyn was involved with in Mexico was potentially damaging to her.
It would take a large amount of time to explain why I am certain Marilyn's attraction was to another man that has yet to be named... but I can tell you this: NO ONE HAS EVER written about this relationship and to date I believe I am the only who has ever recovered this information.
Who knows perhaps one day if I get it together I should write a small book about the final love of Marilyn Monroe.... Ernest want to help me?... he he he he.....
Jill Adams
93 - Jill
I just realized I may have potentially offended MM fans when I wrote MM was attracted to MARRIED men. So I wanted to explain what I meant by that.
I by no means meant she was a homewrecker. What I meant was that Marilyn was attracted to men who seemed "unattainable."
I adore Marilyn and would not want to put the idea out there that Marilyn had been out in the world destroying marriages. I do not believe she was not that kind of girl.
Hope I didn't offend anyone.
Jill Adams.

To#93johAn: Right on johAn! For anybody who owns the catalog from the October 27 & 28, 1999 Christie's auction, and as some hard core collector call that one "the bible", please go to page 325, Lot # 469 and compare that STUFFED TOY POODLE to this awefully new and unused looking teddy baer with the necklace, that is discribed in Playboy and by June DiMaggio.
Compare and realize that this bear shown on the photo simply can not be 44 years old.

Strange world! I just received an email from some happy camper who wants to write a book about Marilyn's last dog "Maf honey", isnt' that something?
Wonder if the other dogs are interested? I think the biggest problem would be the reading.
But you never know, and since the Estate of Marilyn Monroe just licensed a whole line of clothing for dogs, nothing really would surprise me anymore.
At least my dogs are more psychic than that James van Praagh guy.
When I took them with me for a visit at Marilyn's crypt, they looked so super sad on the pictures I took, I will post that photo soon on my website, maybe right behind the Roesler letter with the lawsuit threat.

MARK, DUDE: I hope you know I've got your back on this Otto business, but I've gotta call you on this fiction that Bolanos was to be Hubby #4:
"And it was also recorded that Marilyn made plans to fly to Mexico for the Mexican Independence day."
Recorded WHERE? PLEASE cite your source for this!
"Do you believe that June myth that Joe and Marilyn were about to re-marry?"
Joe and Marilyn got married in civil ceremony in 1954 -- that's why he was excommunicated from the Church (she couldn't convert because she was divorced)! Nothing - not his excommunicated status or her Judism - would have stopped them from remarrying in another civil ceremony (and, as I proved in the earlier blog, there is NO evidence they were about to remarry)
"And why would Marilyn tell her houskeeper that when the phone rung:"If it's the Italian, I am not here."
WTF did you come up with THAT?! PLEASE cite your source!
"Jose and Marilyn had plans for the future, and he came to visit her in Los Angeles. That is also recorded."
Recorded WHERE? Again, please cite your source!
"MM decorated her hacienda all Mexican, and maybe she also like the idea of dating the Mexican writer."
Sorry, Dude, but you just pulled a June! MM bought her house BEFORE she met Boy Toy! She sent Eunice Murray to Mexico a week earlier to scout the shops. Marilyn arrived in Mexico City on 21 February 1962 to find authentic Mexican-style things to decorate her house. THAT was when she met Boy Toy for the first time. Moreoever, Joe helped her move in on 8 March (source: Cursum Perficio by Gary Vitacco-Robles)! So much for your theory why Marilyn went Mex all of a sudden!
"Why would a newspaper print all the info about Bolanos, if he indeed was just a boy toy?"
WHAT newspaper? WHAT info? "Newsweek" cited Bolanos in its 8/14/62 issue mentioning that a friend claimed he and MM were to marry in September, but that is IT! There is ZERO mention of Boy Toy in the 8/6 - 8/11 major newspaper accounts of MM's passing, except to note that he was her escort at the GGs!
"There are tons of photos in existence which show Marilyn and Jose HAPPY, holding hands and kissing."
WHERE are these "tons of photos" except the ones at the GGs? I Googled and came up with NADA! Ditto the books on MM! The 18 August 1962 NY Daily News front page showed Señor Cockroach at her crypt -- NOT the same thing! If you have these "tons of photos" or know where they are, upload or link them! But please, don't make such blanket statements without citing a verifiable source!
"But there are only a few shots of Marilyn and Joe, sitting on the beach in Florida and walking, but not holding hand or kissing."
Dude, you just pulled another June! Finding pics of Joe and Marilyn in Florida holding hands is just too damn easy -- they're in bios of her, they're on the web! How can you say there are NONE?!
"The note you mention was written many years earlier."
How do you know that? Since it wasn't dated (anyone who wants it see can find it doing a MM search on the smokkinggun.com), you don't! Again, PLEASE cite your source!
The smokkinggun.com item you cited was a list complied by her lawyer/executor of assests and debts! That DOES NOT mean DiMaggio ever got his $5,000 back!
Oh and when MM died, why didn't "the last love of her life" hop on the next plane to L.A. to claim her body and make funeral arrangements? Because he decided to let Joe steal his thunder? Doubt it! And why was he MIA at the funeral? Guess, like June, he was there in spirit! And why did those in her inner-inner circle - Pat Newcomb, Whitey Snyder, May Reis - (sorry, Lena Pepitone doesn't count) NEVER confirm that she and Boy Toy were about to walk down the asile, as he and his friend claimed?
BTW, the LA Daily News was wrong about the eulogy! The Strasbergs' reaction to her death, as recounted in EVERY major paper 8/6/62 (quoting from memory): "Now it is all at an end. We hope that her death will stir up sympathy for a sensitive artist.." Strasberg said those EXACT WORDS 2 days later at the funeral! Either Mr. Sandberg had wired his eulogy to Strasberg within hours of MM's death or his didn't write the eulogy!

Dear Lisa!
Someone called me a mudslinger on my first blog, that someone turned out to be from "the Roesler team" later on. I have no idea why you so respectlessly refer to Jose Bolanos as "boy toy"!
And you are obviously missing some information that is easily available and accessable.
I would recomment for you to watch "THE LAST INTERVIEW" and buy some old papers on eBay who printed FACTS! I realy do not have the time in the world right now to answer too many points, made in comments, but since we are running low on comments (Thank god!) this time and this blog, I can spend some minutes for your enlightment, DUDE!
to:
And it was also recorded that Marilyn made plans to fly to Mexico for the Mexican Independence day.
Recorded WHERE? PLEASE cite your source for this!
Answer: The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS from Wednesday, August 8th 1962 at 4 C (page 4)
There are many more details, but I guess you did not even read this blog story, as I put a cut out from that paper into this story, stroll upward and you can see the original piece! Make sure you take a good look at Marilyn and realize that she was in heaven with young and stunningly handsome Jose Bolanos.
To:
Do you believe that June myth that Joe and Marilyn were about to re-marry?
Do YOU Lisa, believe believe that? After Joe must have seen the covers of her ex holding hands with the Mexican heart throb? Come on, he was Italina. No way (Jose) would he married her after that appearance and made himself look sort of ridiculous.
Don't you agree?
Fine.
I do not understand why you guys can't except that Marilyn was her time ahead, she would wear as one of the first people in fashion the most pre-psychadellic colors, like ORANGE, GREEN, SHOCKING PINK, SCREAMING BLUE ETC.!
She would sit with a Mexican 44 years ago, while people are still demonstrating against them, even today!
What part of the story are you missing?
Can you let her move on, and live her life without Joe and have her be a woman that can not stand at home and cook for her legend husband and never lay an eye on a young and stunning Mexican?!
to:
And why would Marilyn tell her houskeeper that when the phone rung:"If it's the Italian, I am not here."
WTF did you come up with THAT?! PLEASE cite your source!
--well, what stands WTF for? Let me guess, maybe WHAT THE FUCK? Am I correct?(Nice, I must admit.) Never heard that one before. Well, you never stop learning...
Alright, since you never have heard of the LAST INTERVIEW with Richard Meryman and photos taken by Allan Grant, I would highly recommend to listen to it and listen carefully. Cause then you will really change your "Joe&Marilyn happy for eternity idea and hopes"
He stated that in his interview. I am NOT making that up, even though you suggest that I am doing just THAT!
to:
Jose and Marilyn had plans for the future, and he came to visit her in Los Angeles. That is also recorded.
Recorded WHERE? Again, please cite your source!
AGAIN: Please read the blog, before posting. There are also nice PICTURES to look at, for the ones who have no interest in reading. That would really HELP. Same SOURCE at mentioned ABOVE.
To:
MM decorated her hacienda all Mexican, and maybe she also like the idea of dating the Mexican writer.
Sorry, Dude, but you just pulled a June! MM bought her house BEFORE she met Boy Toy
Sorry DUDESS, but I think you should read real sources, not that weared book you mention above. That has ALL it's infor from Eunice Murray's book taken anyhow. And the photo's in it, they show items for which I paid a fortune, but did I once complain about it? NO.
To tell me that I just pulled a June is almost as bad as what the other woman named me in that first blog. Are you working for the DiMaggio auction place or something?
Just because you see Marilyn your way, that does not neccessarly mean that it really was exactly like that. I am writing out my toughts and what I saw on pictures, but you obviously have missed those photos completely.
How insulting to call him just a boy toy. After being married to all these ugly husbands she had, she finally had someone who would not just make her look in public like "the beauty and the brain" or "the beauty and the baseball bet"
To:
MM decorated her hacienda all Mexican, and maybe she also like the idea of dating the Mexican writer.
Sorry, Dude, but you just pulled a June! MM bought her house BEFORE she met Boy Toy
Jesus! Your boy toy thing is really sad. What is your problem? You almost seem to be a bit jealous of them, the Anglina&Brad effect?
The next time I will give you a lesson on MM history I will have to charge you, sorry!
Get in touch with Kim Goodwin, please. He has a collection of pictures of them, in b/w and color and after viewing them, you will go into your homes corner, say some 24 Ave Maria's and pray for forgiveness for judging too fast and accusing me of telling BS! That stands for BULL SHIT, BTW, WTF!
I constantly mention the smoking gun source for people to read at least the important documents like MM's LAST WILL and to see that LEE STRASBERG NEVER executed MM's last will.
Oh and WHERE is YOUR prove, that the note was written when, oh of course, RIGHT BEFORE she died. I knew it.
Sad.
Marilyn killed herself because she was really in love with Joe DiMaggio who was beating her and who was also known for being extremely cheap, when MM was never!
WHATEVER.

I hope it is okay that I publicly put this out here on the blog.
I am personally being questioned why I am here currently on the blog supporting Mark and Ernest and being as nice as I have been when past incidents should warrant a different approach.
Well, it is a fair enough question and I really do feel it important to answer here as I am certain even Mark himself is scratching his head.
I am not here to revisit the past. I am not saying I am here to forgive all... but recently I had the chance to have a major reflection on what Mark has been through,,,
,,,,,last week I was contacted by a very threatening sounding person who told me that I was about to be named in on a lawsuit along with Mark. This person told me that three major corporations, one of which had ties to the Mafia, were planning to sue me and I was in "BIG TROUBLE."
Quite honestly it scared the crap out of me.
I immediately started thinking what the heck should I do.... I even changed my phone number... then I thought..... well, I can't afford lawyers... I can't afford this hardship for my family... I guess I will keep quite... I will pull my links and shut the hell up. And for one full day I did, because I was in panic mode.
I then thought..if I was feeling this way... I wonder how Mark must feel having put it ALL ON THE LINE? I mean he really is the one who is willing to put up and he has yet to shut up! (that's a good thing this time Mark! LOL!)
Now although I may disagree with Mark's approach on certain things, the one thing I had never done was put myself in his shoes until this call... and when I did I found an amazing amount of empathy for him.
Now will Mark and I ever be best friends? Honestly this is highly doubtful... but can we work together to at least help stop this travesty?... Well, I am more than willing to once again try and I hope Mark will be too.
**** IN RESPONSE TO PEOPLE QUESTIONING MY BOOK WRITING LINE...It was a "Tongue in Cheek" statement folks... As of this very moment I have no intentions to write a book...but if you all keep thinking I am going to... well maybe I WILL just to annoy you all!! LOL!!****
I hope this answers people's questions... THE CAUSE IS FAR MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING ELSE... I sincerely wish people can see this, I am doing my very best to.
Now let's move forward.....

YOU GO GIRL! And WAY TO GO as well! That is the language I am talking.
I am shocked to hear that you were threatened as well. Another one of my supporters, Cindy from Baltimore got one of these calls and even got a major computer bug set into her system. She felt like you and came back stronger than ever before. She now works hard and can not blog like other people who claim to have six kids and attacked me in excess and psychotic ways.
I got a phone call, a rough and really lunatic sounding voice said, without even asking if I was me: "You Nazi-faggott, go back to Germany, stop that attack or we slash your throat burn your house."
Well, before I could explain to that "gentleman that Nazis actually killed faggots as he unkind named gay people, he simply hung up the phone.
Of course that was reported and nobody can call me any longer without the ID being shown.
Am I afraid? Not at all. Guys do me favor and take me out of this misery. I can't wait to dance Tango with Miss Monroe in my next life, if there is indeed one.
She will blink her eye and hopefully her men will not be jealous.
But I am not dead yet. Plus, in Germany they say"Dogs that bark don't bite."
Of course I am in danger, Jill, I know that, and then I also got some warnings about Otto and him being from Chicago. But then I look at the DOLL SALON, the MARILYN TROLL that Otto chaised down in 6 exhausting years. I read the article you found, with these grim pictures of items in his home, those plates and the scary pencil drawings of Marilyn and Joe (or whoever that is supposed to be) and the huge FAKE parfume bottle that schmuck is holding with the grin of bucks bunny in his hands.
If this world really believes this man and his stupid and so unreal stories which he delievers with the trashy lingerie of MM, spread out on sofas, respectless and full of shame. Shoes in three different sizes, a Teddy Bear that is not older than the Clinton Presidency, well, maybe even the Reagan...! But if this world really believes this charlatan, and they are getting away with it, being backed by the Anna Strasberg money hungry paws, the June DiMaggio catastrphic appearance and worse then Slatzer BS stories, then I have no desire to stay anyhow.
Marilyn Monroe means my life to me. How sad is that anyhow? But: I like it this way. Her belongings bring me happiness like for other people heavy drugs do.
Is that insane or maybe healthier? Don't know. Who cares anyhow.
But you are right when you say:
"Now will Mark and I ever be best friends? Honestly this is highly doubtful... but can we work together to at least help stop this travesty?... Well, I am more than willing to once again try and I hope Mark will be too."
I really was amazed that you tell Chuck, Greg's boyfriend that you were "afraid or scared of me" and then you would post on this very blog, just two days later, after he emailed me that statement.
But I am different, and I can move on. I always did. Friends, for me is a different word, as this term is all too often used in quantity rather than Quality. My space dott com is showing how many friends this or that person has, are they really friends?
I don't think so.
Again, I am sorry that you had such a dramatic event in your personal life. It is horrable, especially since you have family and lots of work to get done.
We are in the mids of finding out the right way to persue this, but when Welkos discribed in his sarcastic way of writing that I see this as "the most important mission in my life" I thought, let me show that man how right he is!
I will treat it as such and I will bring this one to success.
Otto can not fu*k with me anyhow. I can show him what a great Monroe historian he really is, any given moment. The "dwarf" is beatable and Strasberg has been TOO quiet to recover from this scandal. June DiMaggio is too old, that is her biggest excuse.
They can come to my home--Roesler knows where I live--they can get rid of me, but this travesty as you call it will be stopped, by all the other people who are involved, and by you as well.
We all have to die some day. Marilyn died way too early and became a money machine par excellence. How sad is that?
This is far from being over, but I believe that my first blog has done the biggest damage anyhow--they will dare not even try to make it to several countries in Europe, as people are alert about that and the Stern magazine will print a story to Marilyn's birthday and report on the scam. So we already made them lose those Euros for sure. But if you think about it, they are (were) about to scam multi millions of people, especially in this country.
Now, not anymore. That Pope woman, from Otto's business was stuttering on CBS NEWS and seemed more nervous than a debutante ball room dancer.
And if you feel like writing a book, try it. You seem to know so much more than a lot of people and I bet a hundred times more than Robert W. Otto!
We do not know, unless we try.
I have been trying to change, but to what? To a person who is not himself any longer?
My dogs would hate that.
Again, I am sorry for that experince. I hope it was a one time experience only.
But it is not healthy to live in fear.
Thank you Jill, really. God bless you.

Plus, you also have to remember that I got a very lucrative offer from a Japanese company and the producer wanted me to tour with my own collection especially in Europe this year. When I had to make a decission about the tour or this case, I decided on Marilyn over the money. This is a fact and it is reality. I mean how could I have just acted like Otto and his scary "Marilyn Monroe-Believe It Or Not" exhibit of sham, does not exist? Go to Long Beach and pay a whopping $22,95 for the most obscene and terrible display that anybody with a history of making fierce and terrible horror movies could not imagine.
The mannequins look deathlike instead of lifelike and the "tackle-box" should be renamed to "tacky-box".
But please make sure that you hold on tight to your admission ticket, as you soon might be able TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK! lol

Dear Mark:
As I've said, I TOTALLY back your campaign against these vipers, Otto, Roesler, June DiMaggio, etc. And I admit "pulled a June" was over the top. Sorry.
But I don't claim to be the MM expert, YOU do! And with all respect, contrary to what you've claimed, I've already proven that:
1) Carl Sandberg DID NOT write the eulogy
2) There ARE pics of Joe and Marilyn in Florida holding hands
3) Marilyn's decision to get Mexican decore for her house WAS NOT because of Jose Bolanos
4) The smokinggun archives DO NOT show that DiMaggio was repaid $5,000
Does the NY Daily News piece mention SPECIFICALLY that she was going to Mexico to see Jose Bolanos? I'm guessing not, because, if it did, you would be shouting it from the rooftops!
"I constantly mention the smoking gun source for people to read at least the important documents like MM's LAST WILL and to see that LEE STRASBERG NEVER executed MM's last will."
This is an incorrect interpretation. The Will states: "I give and bequeath all of my personal effects and clothing to LEE STRASBERG, or if he should predecease me, then to my Executor hereinafter named, it being my desire that he distribute these, in his sole discretion, among my friends, colleagues and those to whom I am devoted." It does not impose any legal obligation -- it states only a "desire." More importantly, it is not clear that Strasberg is the "he" or "him" referred to; it is more likely that the distribution of personal property was meant to take place if and only if Strasberg predeceased MM, which he didn't.
"Oh and WHERE is YOUR prove, that the note was written when, oh of course, RIGHT BEFORE she died."
I SAID NOTHING OF THE SORT! YOU SAID it was written YEARS before, but you haven't offered any proof!
"Get in touch with Kim Goodwin, please. He has a collection of pictures of them."
I've Googled "Kim Goodwin"; there are several; I have no idea which one you're talking about. Maybe he can provide a link to the non-Golden Globes MM/Jose pics he has, if they exist.
"Sorry DUDESS, but I think you should read real sources, not that weared book you mention above. That has ALL it's infor from Eunice Murray's book taken anyhow."
I'm sure it'll come as a surprise to Gary Vitacco-Robles that he ripped off Eunice Murray: "Vitacco-Robles found a wealth of information by connecting with people who knew Marilyn personally or are collectors who own various items. Both Marilyn's first husband, James Dougherty, and her physician Hyman Engelberg, corresponded with the author... One of the oddest connections that Vitacco-Robles discovered about Monroe's quest for a better self was her relationship with her psychiatrist, Romeo Greenson. Greenson may have been trying to take control his famous patients life by encouraging the purchase of the home due to its proximity to his home and office... Another aspect of this spooky connection is that the woman that Greenson suggested Marilyn hire as a housekeeper was Eunice Murray, the woman who had once owned the doctor's home. Allegedly, Greenson planted Murray in Marilyn's home to keep an eye on his patient and give him total access to her life." (source: Watermark Magazine, November 2003)
"And why would Marilyn tell her houskeeper that when the phone rung: "If it's the Italian, I am not here."
Richard Merryman's 6/1/01 account to Larry King: "... after she had had quite a lot of champagne, the phone rang and the press agent (NOT housekeeper!) went and answered it. And Marilyn called out, 'If it's an Italian, I'm not here.'" THAT'S why I asked WTF? But, again, YOU'RE the self-proclaimed MM expert, NOT me!
Why haven't you commented on the fact that Bolanos wussed out when MM needed him most (after her death), and that he was a no-show at the funeral? Maybe because his actions were not those of a man in love!
Why haven't you commented on the fact that no one in her inner circle confirmed they were planning on marrying? Maybe because they weren't!
Why haven't you commented on the fact that none of her biographers - even the irresponsible ones - have given Bolanos the legitimacy he so richly "deserves"? Maybe because he doesn't!
In the Hunt auction, no less than 3 love letters MM wrote to DiMaggio are being sold. Why are there NO love letters MM wrote to Bolanos? Why didn't Christie's or Julien's offer any Bolanos-related items? If Jose was THE man in her life from Feb 1962 on, as you say, logic dictates MM would have left behind letters, gifts - SOMETHING - that would prove there was an intimate relationship! All you've offered are one clipping and a pic of him slobbering all over her at the Golden Globes! They DO NOT prove that Bolanos was anything more than a passing fancy, if that! But, as you so sweetly put it, WHATEVER!
102 - Mark Bellinghaus
Dear Lisa! I do appreciate your good intentions. But: I do not have time for this right now. I said that this matter is in an important state and I am working for days on my website. Please feel free to check it out and send me an email with what you hate about it, sinc you do not seem to like much of what I have been doing.
And just to tell you up front; I would have not done this, if Otto and Co. would have provoked this. I feel pranked, fooled insulted, hurt, humiliated and simply sick to my stomach, ever since I set foot into that disgusting exhibit.
I do not know what you really want from me. Why did nobody else open their mouth when the world reported on that garage sale junk on the Queen Mary.
I do not "claim" to be an expert on Marilyn, I am. That is how simply it is. If you compare her writings from 1962 it is way softer and lighter. The writing on her last checks is simply almost invisible. The writing on the letter that you mention is way stronger and originated (in my own opinion) from the time right after her marriage failed. Possibly while she still was married.
Who in your eyes wrote the eulogy? Strasberg? HA! He only read it and acted it out.
How have you proven what?
I have not received any email with your proof.
to 3) can you read or is it my terrible English, man (woman) I never said that MM bought Mexican furniture because of Bolanos. I know that they met in Mexico while she was shopping--I read Eunice Murray's book and would highly recommend for you to do so, too.
You say:
Why haven't you commented on the fact that Bolanos wussed out when MM needed him most (after her death), and that he was a no-show at the funeral? Maybe because his actions were not those of a man in love!
Listen, you like to believe that MM was addicted to Joe DiMaggio, fine. I do not. That's how simple it is.
You can not convince me and I have more than just a paper clipping as you call it. Marilyn looked as happy as you did never see her with her three husbands COMBINED! Got it?
I am really busy and tell your Gary Robbles guy that it is a shame that he copied all the items from the Christie's catalog and put them in his book form and sold them. If he did not read the appendix, that is illegal. And I bought most of these items and paid a lot of money for it.
He was drawing in photos as that is the only legal way to do that. But some of the drawings are imagination. Speaking about facts. The painting of MM, with huge one with the boy playing guitar never hung on top of Marilyn's fireplace! that is an interpretation from your author you defend so heart felt.
Why don't you write your own blog and open a Q&A>
So please tell me, Lisa: WHO wrote the eulogy if it was not Carl Sandburg?
That is more important to me than all the other crap. Cause if you had read Carl Sandburg, you'd know that it was his heart he put into that piece.
Got it?

well well , what a fuss about bolanos and dimaggio. this shows just as i always have thought, that mm was different to many fans . i guess she is not the same person to many. every fan ect has their own image of her. thats what i always have thought was/is the case.
because there are so many stories being told and written about mm ( fact and fiction) she is different to many people. many fans have their own image of her. what is right and what is wrong, well that i sometimes do not know myself also.
anyway, i just saw that in the german newsletter the first blog article is printed. glad that this way also many people will read it that maybe did not know of it on the internet.

Dude, I don't want anything from you. I'm just gonna ask a few questions, and get out of your life forever:
If Jose Bolanos was THE man in Marilyn's life, then why didn't DiMaggio just wash his hands of her? Why did he continue to call her and see her and even write (one letter was to be offered at the Odysey auction; the other, dated 8 May 1962, was sold at the Barry Halpern auction)? When Hyman Engelberg called to tell him she was dead (8/6/62 SF Chronicle), why didn't he say "sorry to hear that" and go back to sleep? Why didn't he just let her man Jose clean up the mess? Maybe he was a glutton for punishment, or maybe (gasp!) he knew she was never serious about your boy!
As far as DiMaggio being "cheap" as you say? $10,000 mink coat (in 1953 dollars)? Diamond and platinum wedding band? Diamond and platinum
eternity ring? Pearl necklace? Necklace made from one of his World Series rings? Let me guess: the cheap bastard found all those in a Cracker Jack box! RLMAO!
"I sat near her. She gulped wine by the glassful. When her name was called, she had to be helped out of her chair onto the stage. She accepted the award almost in a caricature of herself." -- James Bacon on Marilyn at the 1962 Golden Globe Awards
That is what is, frankly, pissing me off about your "Jose Bolanos was THE man in Marilyn's life" crud: Why did he let her drink to excess and embarrass herself -- in front of the Hollywood elite, no less?! Accuse me of being a "Joe addict" all you want, he would NEVER have allowed that to happen!
Why do you expect people to believe that he was her great love if won't you won't answer the questions about the non-existence of Jose-related stuff at the auctions, or why no one in her camp ever confirmed they were to marry, or why he was a no-show at the funeral? Did he ever buy or give her anything besides cooties? Enquiring minds wanna know!
If MM wrote that letter years earlier, then why did she still have it? Makes no sense.
Finally, how do I know Mr. Sandburg didn't write the eulogy besides the 8/6/62 NY Times quoting the release issued by Strasberg which he repeated at the funeral ("Now it is at an end. I hope her death will stir sympathy and understanding for a sensitive artist and a woman who brought joy and pleasure to the world")? Simple: why would he let the world think that egomaniac wrote it? Doesn't make sense. He DID write a "Tribute to Marilyn Monroe" (Look Magazine Sept 11, 1962), but, as far as I have been able to gather, NEVER took credit for what Strasberg said at the funeral! If you can prove otherwise, friend, do it!

Just food for thought....
Marilyn was still a commodity for someone and still is.
It is easier to sell a great love story for the ages then a love story wrought with imperfections.
Isn't it possible that with all the spin control that went on behind the scenes in the clean up on MM's Estate (days and weeks after her life ended) that certain correspondence that may have existed to other people found their way to the trash?
IN ADDITION: We cannot all be that naive to think that Joe didn't want the legend of JOE AND MARILYN to exist after her death.
READ A HOLLYWOOD FAREWELL... by Leigh Weiner. It is VERY enlightening on the workings on Joe DiMaggio. How he positioned the media cameras to have the correct angles on him during the entire funeral. How he orchestrated the entire funeral so that he was the ultimate griever for Marilyn and would go down in history as the greatest love of Marilyn's life.
Joe could never obtain Marilyn in life so he found a way to have her in death.
Now don't get me wrong I do think Marilyn loved Joe but not in the way he wanted her to.
Again... I have other thoughts on who Marilyn's attractions fell to... but I agree that the love in Marilyn's life in 1962 was not Joe DiMaggio... but it does make for a beautiful story---one I can understand why most fans like to hold on to.

Aren't you creating a bit toomuch dust?
What for, we are all hanging in here without a bad word indays and now you say that I have said this and that bla bla bla...
I only printed a photo that shows an amazingly happy looking Marilyn with her escort DATE, Jose Bolanos. You called him boy toy and you should really consider saying a prayer, as he is dead and he might go right after your angy soul.
I never tried to portray him as THE LOVE OF MARILYN'S LIFE! NO, no no!
Isn't it ridiculous what people put into your mouth?
You really need to do more reading before you come out with your fierce statements. Did you not read how many authors, well respected said that JDM was cheap.
Where is your proof for the eulogy? Who wrote it instead of Carl Sanburg? You said no but you can not tell us who wrote it! Lee Strasberg? WRONG.
What are you on?
Are you reading some wicked Robert Slatzer book right now.
Write a book, do something positive, call the Queen Mary and tell them that you at least agree on one thing with me.
Maybe you should contact June DiMaggio and ask her for the REAL FACTS and TRUTH!
Please relax. And please do not call me "dude" I hate that, and it is so yesterday anyhow. You don't have to show the world what a young off spring chicken you are or think you are. COOL?

To #108 Jill:
Exactly. Oh I forgot what comes to mind thinking about the cheapness of Joe DiMaggio. If that Lisa girl/woman/dudess is reading this: How about you big spender Joe DiMaggio STOPPED the rose delievery after exactly 20 years. Why? Was he broke? Not at all! Was he done with MM? Who knows. But why could he not continue that habbit until his own death? He promised (according to June DiMaggio and her tales) to put roses on her grave, did he say for exactly 20 years because that is enough?!
Sorry Jill, but you got a great point with the amazing and so by myself highly respected Leigh Wiener book. I read it every August 5th and look at those very moving photos, oh and--I still can not recognize JUNE DIMAGGIO.
Strange.
What do you think Jill, is she going to be in the CBS MM Special that is so highly promoted ritght now?
Mr. Engelberg is going to be in there.
Wonder if they show Miner as well.
But could it be that June fell off the wagon because of my first blog sensation?
What do you think?
After the Entertainment Tonight "correction" and all the other action that was taken, this could be just the case.
Didn't we hear somone who attacked us, hear saying the there will be finally some proof, that Junie is legit?

Hey, Mark:
THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE, FINAL WORD ON THIS! I PROMISE I WILL NEVER POST HERE AGAIN!
I have already demonstrated why Mr. Sandburg didn't write the eulogy. You wanna continue to believe Lee Strasberg "acted out" his assesment of Marilyn’s talent as "written" by Carl Sandburg at the funeral, fine! You can believe Tom Cruise is the Second Coming for all I care!
As for Jill's post on Leigh Weiner: Why you choose to believe a guy who bribed a mortuary assistant to let him take pictures of Marilyn's body is beyond me!
Why did NO ONE who attended the funeral or worked on it CONFIRM his account? Why did he make his allegations YEARS LATER? Why have NONE of Marilyn's or DiMaggio's biographers - INCLUDING the DiMaggio-bashing Roger Kahn and Richard Ben Cramer - CONFIRMED his account?
I don't know Mark, why did DiMaggio stop sending the roses? Why didn't Jose Bolanos ever send roses or pick up where DiMaggio left off? YOU'RE the Marilyn expert, YOU TELL US!
Why did you ignore James Bacon's account of Marilyn's behavior at the Golden Globes? Why isn't he full of sh*t? Because he was there and you weren't?
ONE LAST TIME, I do not agree with your take on the nature of the Marilyn/Bolanos relationship for the following reasons:
1) DiMaggio’s behavior;
2) The non-confirmation by Marilyn’s people of a serious affair and/or an upcoming marriage;
3) Marilyn’s biographers;
4) Jose letting DiMaggio claim Marilyn’s body and arrange her funeral (Would YOU allow your beloved’s ex to hijack your place in her life?);
5) Jose’s no-show at the funeral;
6) The no (way) Jose items at the Marilyn auctions;
7) Bolanos never produced letters and/or non-Golden Globe photos to confirm their relationship was serious. Maybe they exist, I don't know. YOU'RE the Marilyn expert, Mark -" why can't you come up with them?
NO, you did not say Jose was the love of her life NOR DID I SAY YOU DID! YOU DID say he was the last love of her life, and they were making plans for the future! The above points SIMPLY DO NOT support your argument!
HOWEVER -- THAT DOES NOT CHANGE THE FACT THAT OTTO, JUNE DiMAGGIO, AND ROSELER ARE FRAUDS AND MUST BE EXPOSED, WHICH YOU HAVE DONE! IN THAT, I'M BEHIND YOU 100%!
P.S. You mention Mr. Engelberg will be on CBS. I'm assuming you mean DiMaggio's attorney, Morris Engelberg, as Hyman Engelberg died in Dec. Mr. Engelberg violated attorney-client privilege, which does not end when the client dies, when he wrote his book on DiMaggio. Among his sources are Robert Slatzer and Jeanne Carmen! Your truly pathetic attempt to discredit me by saying I read Slatzer's books (where's your proof? HAHA!) is so funny, it's well, pathetic! And I love you, too, Mark! XXX
112 - Mark Bellinghaus
Dear Lisa! [Edited] After reading what you said about the great Leigh Wiener who had respect for MM, which you seem to miss completely, I stopped reading your comment, or whatever is left. Open the Joe DiMaggio was the greatest guy on earth fan club, or the Lisa Davis knows everything about MM fan club and see how far you gonna go.
The Sandburg fact really drove you up the walls, why?
Oh -- I don't really need to know. Believe it or not, but I am working on this case 24/7 and we can discuss your look at all the other facts surrounding MM and her life, if you wish.
Did you call me "dude" again? I did not read your comment and I won't until you post a nice little URL and I can check out who you really are. Could it be that you are working with/for that upcoming auction on the DiMaggio treasure?
And what do you think about the fact that Joe stopped sending the roses 20 years after MM's death.
Oh, I know he had his reason and you think that is sooooo cccccooooolllllll as well.
Wonderful.
Now I need to continue scanning important documents, as I have no army of lawyers and assistants like Mr. Ferrari with JAMES DEAN licence plate Mark Roesler.
I am sure you have mercy and aren't mad. But I resent that aweful comment against Mr. Wiener.

Some good news for a change:
The BEVERLY HILLS COURIER printed another story on this terrible exhibit scandal!
Since I took many pictures for them, they actually wrote a second follow up in two weeks. My great THANKS fo out to Sherry Dodd who also spoke in personally to June DiMaggio and she was mentioned in my first blog.
After the press opening we read the first article that Welkos wrote and quoted me in the LA Times, the Otto team send Miss Dodd a vicious email stating: "Nice quote from your photographer."
This shows the sort of people we are dealing here.
I was on the list and the photos I took are absolutely legit. The article from today is showing the red dress and the 1974 hair curlers. (both of those items were pulled from the running exhibit, besides some others, after the blog spread the news faster than the wind).
Here is the article:
Media Enters Marilyn Monroe Exhibit Contraversy
By Sherry Dodd
With CBS and KCAL news now joining the foray, the Marilyn Monroe
Exhibit at the Queen Mary has come into additional scrutiny regarding
the alleged items owned by Marilyn Monroe that are on display.
Not only have the electric rollers (manufactured in 1974, 12 years
after Monroe’s death) been pulled from the showing but also several
clothing items and a wig.
Robert Otto, president of The Marilyn Monroe Exhibit was not available
for comment but collector Mark Bellinghaus and author Ernest W.
Cunningham were on the CBS and KCAL news telling of their findings
of alleged fraud to news anchor Rick Chambers.
Bellinghaus's lawyers are looking into the possibilities of a lawsuit,
possible a class action lawsuit, to retrieve money that was taken from
the public. In Bellinghaus's opinion the majority of items exhibited
are fake. According to Bellinghaus and Cunningham, with not one single
movie dress that Monroe wore in a film or any items that can be shown
with Monroe in photographs or identified, only a very small majority-
along with the dolls, bottles of wine with Monroe’s picture, and
magazines that any collector can buy,- can be deemed real.
Bellinghaus and Cunningham have written a saga that is titled
Marilyn Monroe Exhibit Exposed As $8.75 Million Lie and can be found on
www.blogcritics.org
48 Hours , the CBS news show, will air this Saturday at 8 p.m. with
insights into the mysterious circumstances of Monroe’s death at age 36.
It is not known whether June DiMaggio, Joe DiMaggio’s niece through
marriage, the source of the majority of the questionable items
displayed at the exhibit, will be interviewed.
On June 1, the Andrew Weiss Gallery in Beverly Hills will display rare and never before seen photos of Monroe. The date commerates what would have been her 80th birthday.

Lisa! I admit it, I peaked into your [Edited] comment and could not help myself in adding my pathetic little comment on that. Forget about Jose and Joe, please. Now what is more important is that you misspelled the name of the great and powerful super mega lawyer! You wrote ROSELER--well I am the last person on earth who should tell and American(I assume you were born here), but he has nothing to do with Roses--on the contrary. His name is the German for little horse, a Ross is a horse, and a Roesler is someone who handles horses. After he hadled roofs, now he handles James Dean and Marilyn Monroe. And in that way and perspective the horse on his silver Ferrari makes total sense.
If you are living under a rock, let me tell you that YES, it is going to be the late Mr. Engelberg. You know, and I tried to explain this to your dudess-brain earlier, that CBS was working on this before the sham exhibit started. I talke to the producer, and now we found out that my blog kicked out the likes of June DiMaggio and Jeanie Carmen. I hope you do agree with me that it is aweful to watch that woman on TV and fakely crying and stating that she did not have time to talk to Marilyn before she was murdered, or whatever this lady claims. A friend of mine told me that she showed up at the Julien's auction and stated that Marilyn was her girlfriend, as of lover. I did not hear it, as I was busy watching the bidding. But it would not surprise me at all. I am sorry, but when I sat in front of the TV in Germany and watched an early documentary with that woman in it, I certainly BELIEVED her! Until I read and read and read again and then met real experts or people who know more than others, or claim to at least.
I was shocked but then her sad excuse and the story that MM called her for sleeping pills etc. is simply ridiculous in my opinion.
Now I am sure her son is going to attack me, but as long as we are still living in a free country, I am free toexpress my opinion.
Lisa, you still have my attention and if you ever come to LA, let me share my proof to all I am saying in person.
I really do not want to post all my documents, like the stack of paper that came with May Reis's copy of Marilyn's last will and testament on my website.
It will be copied and is printed rapidly in some book, just like that Cursum Perficio, printed photos from the items that are in my home. It feels really odd. Don't you understand that?
I mean that "dude" (as you call them) created another book with photo-shopped pictures in it.
I do not agree on that. sorry.

I've often heard the expression, "No good deed goes unpunished." It would seem as though Mrs. Strasberg, Mr. Roesler, Mr. Otto, et. al., are trying their best to make this expression become your reality.
I've loved Marilyn since I was a child...yes, she was beautiful, but when I looked into her eyes, I found a sadness and longing that I felt in my own heart. How anyone could take advantage of this wonderful woman is beyond me. Yet, I know now, especially after reading about this dispicable fraud of a display, that many find it very easy to do so.
When I first heard of the Christie's auction, I was brokenhearted. To think that all of Marilyn's personal/professional items would be scattered around the world confounded me. Why would Mrs. Strasberg not want to create a museum, a lifetime tribute to Marilyn?? Of course the only answer is money. The expression, "Money is the root of all evil," is more accurately realized in "THE WANT OF MONEY is the root of all evil." And fine, if she wanted to auction Marilyn's things, why did she not do something noble with the money, such as help children in need, knowing how much Marilyn loved children. Such selfishness and greed from one who didn't even know Marilyn is unspeakable!
Even I, a non-expert in Marilyn's belongings, took one look at those Conair Hair Rollers, the so-called "Highlight" of the Queen Mary Monroe Exhibit and had a good laugh (with FAKE hair attached, no less). I was born in the 60's and have the distinct memory of my older sister purchasing those very same type of rollers in the 70's. And I very well remember what my Mom's rollers looked like - LIKE MARILYN'S!!
I will quote: When Otto was asked in a Los Angeles Times interview why there were no photos of Marilyn wearing the clothing on display he answered, “As with anyone else, the clothing Marilyn wore in private didn’t appear in photos.”
That is one of THE most rediculous statements I have ever heard. I'm sorry, but if you are going to display something, you'd best have the back-up material (i.e. photos) to go along with your claims. Especially when there are thousands of photos of Ms. Monroe available in all kinds of attire.
Mark, Mr. Cunningham....you do such a great justice to the memory of one of the most beautiful and talented women of all time. More so because she had such a beautiful heart and soul and WAS SO VULNERABLE to the leeches that would use her, then and NOW! And anyone who can find fault in your pursuit of justice is quite ignorant. It doesn't even matter what you are seeking justice for....the very fact of your doing so should be respected. Why do people who don't understand what Marilyn means to so many of us find the need to belittle what you are doing? What do they care? They should just go about painting themselves up for their sports games and leave others alone.
And one more thing - if anyone truly wonders why someone would want to own a possession of Ms. Monroe's, it is due to the knowledge that it was once part of her life. A life we wish we had known.
Your diligent work is not in vain. It is both greatly appreciated and supported by those of us who know why you are doing what you are doing.
Thank you a million times over. I hope that Marilyn can feel all the love and positive energy that is devoted to her.
My best to all to FRIENDS THROUGH MARILYN, Sarah

Lisa deserves credit for her insight, and opinions. She's obviously done her homework. However this seems to be a no win situation. Based on all that I have read, it's Mark's way or the highway. Disagree with his opinion and it becomes a war of the words. Even those who appear to agree with almost everything Mark says can at least agree on this.
Stick to the cause Mark, oh I forgot, you don't have a cause anymore. This is all about you isn't it. SELF-SERVING. To everyone else that believed what Mark said, be aware that this guy is all about himself.
You started out strong bringing up a few fake items. So Otto made some errors in his judgement and may have trusted some people he shouldn't have. Do you have any idea what he may be feeling? What he is going through over this? I don't even know this man, but as a human being, I sure can understand that your constant antagonization, and public insults can not be healthy for anyone; even yourself. Get over it. Just because he may have trusted people that lied to him, doesn't make this entire exhibition a fake. People are not perfect. And if it is all a fake, than buyer be ware, but stop with the insults. I doubt this man (Otto) ever wanted to intentionally deceive anyone, he may have been fooled as well. Why didn't you do the noble thing and try to communicate with Otto man to man PRIVATLY. Speaking of men, why do you sound as if you are in love with Jose Bolanos, and what is with comparing anyone to Leonardo Di Caprio, where does that come from? Why are you so angry with Joe DiMaggio when he was the only man that kept his silence and honored Marilyn's life and privacy while he was alive? She loved him, and may have loved others. You say he was abusive, but by reading this blog and speaking to MANY that have encountered you, you sound pretty verbally abusive too. Stop throwing stones at everyone, you're not perfect.
And who made you an authority on Marilyn again? You didn't even know her. You've got your sources of information the same way everyone else has: books, TV, interviews ect. You're just a fan like everyone else. So you own some of the stuff she owned while she was alive, and so what? So did the Nunez family, and the Strasberg's. Look how many things she gave away in her lifetime. It's not Marilyn you own. And by the way, owning things she had still doesn't make you an authority. You've invested time and money in Marilyn, but you're still not an authority. Just a fan. Stop tyring to humiliate everyone that disagrees with you. Even if they say they believed in the cause which many of these people did, you start arguing with them over the men in Marilyn's life, what she wore, how she felt, or anything that you don't believe in. Wake up call Mark: You didn't know Marilyn personally. You have no clue who she was in love with, what she found attractive, or how she even felt.
By your nasty attitude however, we can all agree that she would have been turned off by you and the negative things you have said to other people on and off this blog.
It's clear that after you read this, you will end up trying to debate with me, you're angry, but maybe you should examine who you are really upset with. Could it be yourself as you've spent all this money on Marilyn, and yet you're no closer to Marilyn than any of us. Maybe you're even upset that you didn't have an exhibit before Otto did. You keep talking about all you own, so have an exhibit and stop with the anger "DUDE." You still don't have Marilyn. She's as much yours as she is ours.

Otto was not available for comment, but Roxann Pope, spokeswoman for Marilyn Monroe Exhibits, said the allegations that items are fake "can't be proved or founded."
"There's no evidence. I'm sure, 100 percent," she said.
Regarding the Clairol Hairsetter's removal, Pope said, "While moving into additional authentication stages, the results prove to be inconclusive. Therefore, instead of trying to make this a source of controversy … we've chosen to pull the item at this time."
Reached by phone Sunday at her Sacramento-area home, June DiMaggio said the curlers came from a suitcase belonging to her mother that was labeled "Marilyn Monroe." DiMaggio said she was unsure if the curlers belonged to her mother, who was blond, or to Monroe.
As for the authenticity of other items in the exhibit, DiMaggio said, "I can't prove it. It's my word against anyone else's."

I think, over the years of working on the Internet and running a Marilyn club, the best thought I can come up with is to AGREE TO DISAGREE.
I really do understand the passion behind people's certainty about Marilyn's life. And I can only comment on my own ideas based on my own research and 25+ years of studying Marilyn's life... and I can say that sometimes I have found myself changing my mind even when I think I am 100% certain...
BOTTOM LINE IS; THE ONLY PERSON WHO KNEW FOR SURE WHO MARILYN LOVED OR DIDN'T LOVE IS MARILYN HERSELF--- and sadly she is no longer around TO SHARE THAT WITH US...
So I would say... share knowledge... learn from each other... and when you get too passionate and emotions get in the way then just AGREE TO DISAGREE AND MOVE ON TO ANOTHER SUBJECT.
That being said....
I am off to watch the CBS show on the death of MArilyn... I hold out very little hope since three of their major interviews are Donald Wolfe, John Minor and Jeanne Carmen....
WELL.... we'll see.....

WELL...
THE GOOD NEWS: No June DiMaggio, John Miner, Donald Wolfe
THE BAD NEWS: PLENTY of Jeanne Carmen to last a life time... oh it just drove me crazy...
Well suffice to say it was a colossal waste of time as most of these things are.

Okay, did everyone have a good laugh over the
"48-Hour-Mystery-Murder of Marilyn Monroe?
I hope you caught the sub-text, the real motive
for CBS airing this show: it's a cleverly disguised warning against PLASTIC SURGERY!
Can we make a sacred pact? that when one of us
starts looking like Jeanne Carmen or Tony Curtis,
the others will quickly kill that person, before they can frighten small children.
122 - Ernest Cunningham
And one more thought -- it was nice to see Jack Clemmons once more mouthing his murder charge. When Clemmons spoke at the MM club meet, long time ago, he said he "sensed" that Bobby Kennedy was in the house while he was there. And you'll remember that Clemmons's expertise was investigating traffic accidents.

The CBS SPECIAL, the one that was mentioned by this dreadful June DiMaggio supporter and defender just aired and is over (THANK GOODNESS!)
When I spoke to producer Anthony Vendetti in November and he came to Greg Schreiner's home to shoot some of his collection(where was that footage?) I told him about our findings and the proof we have against June DiMaggio and her fake stories, the Allan Abbott statements and on and on and on, and: We just witnessed another BLOG-SUCCESS! Cause June DiMaggio, and the whole BS about the fraud exhibit on the Queen Mary WAS NOT IN THE SHOW at all!
Wow.
Cool to see that there was another show who shot footage in November, like the ET show from the same station, CBS, and then decided to "pull it" due to evidence that was delivered in a way that it would make sense for even the most retarded person on earth.
The sad part on this 48 Hours show: Why couldn't they find a real person that really knew Marilyn?
Oh, I forgot they are almost all dead by now.
You knew that coming, but: Jeanie Carmen, OMG!
Did you guys notice how dramatic she threw her hand over her head when she answered the question if MM had indeed a diary.
How would Jeanie Carmen KNOW to answer that question, when her ONE NAME is NOT LISTED in Marilyn Monroe's PERSONAL ADDRESS BOOK, three of them (they sold at Christie's over the years, one phone book, and one timer!
So she might have gotten away with these aweful lies, because those books were still resting in storage 25 years ago, when I witnessed almost the same identical show, including the shuts of the beach, the sirens of the ambulance, the interview with Mrs. Murray, and the ocean, Hollywood and all the other want to impress the not in Los Angeles living people around the globe. And a 25 years younger and less lifted Jeanie Carmen! Back then in Germany I believed that woman her dramatic tales and thought OMG, what a woman, what a Bi**h to not save Marilyn!
Now I know that she is the last surviving phone (or are there more?) from the Slatzer nest.
I wonder how much she charged for that pathetic interview with her lipstick attack for 55' Plasma HDTV owners. AWEFUL and scary.
And: DOUBLE OMG: Tony Curtis! Not only that he is a dreadful painter, that painting at the end was the most disgusting insult on Marilyn and my two dogs would have done a better job having diarrhea.
But he must have a strng case of Alzheimer, besides that he should sue his plastic surgent, or should call Jeannie Carmen's ASAP, cause he must have simply forgotten that he compared OUR SAINT and ANGEL to ADOLF HITLER!
That will really haunt him, like Jeannie Carmen's ridiculous lies will haunt her.
That Summers guy, well, that guy put the most disgusting picture of Marilyn Monroe in his book, showing Marilyn dead, and to let this moron speak and lead this entire show, that is telling what really happened to the producers of this 48 HOURS special: THEY HAD NO CLUE!
He also is a kiss up to Miner guy and just having all these tons of old files in his hand, most of them are blackened out
There are still some witnesses around, but they are a soon extinguished species.
But as much as I believed 25 years that rubbish that Jeannie carmen told on German TV in a dubbed version, Now I feel the opposite.
But again, the champagne is open, I am toasting to Marilyn and can tell her that she has been defended (at least in this show) against people like June DiMaggio/Mary Jane Popp(off), Robert W.(Bugs Bunny on the biggest loser) Otto, and some others creeps who would have been on the show.
Wonder why the show featured so many items that are actually in my collection, and not on the Queen Mary?
The black turtleneck sweater was in many shuts, the orange Pucci, wonderful and the Chac Mool, I even discovered another item that I saw in the left side of the home, when they showed MM's sun room. The table top that is covered with Mexican tiles. It is there on b/w footage, and that made me collectors heart beat faster.
That almost made up for the scary lipstick and tight jeans wearing wanna be forever 60, Jeannie Carman.
Can sombody tell her to dress according to her age? Maybe a black toga or something? Why did they leave out the throat when they stretched the skin of her face? Don't get it...but still looks better than Freddy Krueger-double Tony Curtis.
I guess alcohol and meaness leaved marks--no no do not look at me, I will look worse than both of them, when we are done with that case.
But the results are more important.
And so far we are doing extremely well.
June Di Maggio? HA HA HA!
M.J. Popp? " " "
R.W. Otto? " " "
Whose next?
No, Jeanie, get in line, we need to tell the world that I could not find the name of MARILYN's BEST FRIEND! In any phonebook, or address book!
Her excuse will be, we can imagine that: Because she knew it by heart. Alright, does this woman have any prove that she actually lived at that address? Well, and if she yes, does have a bill or something. Just like June DiMaggio, no letter, written by Marilyn? No note or Photo of them together?
BS! I may have believed them all 25 years ago, but NOW I DO KNOW BETTER.
And you all should consider to question anybody of these John Miner-like vultures is trying to do here: to hack a piece out of Marilyn.
Disgusting.
I don't see the point of that show. Never before heard tapes? BS.
They did not say anything that we did not know already.
FRIENDS THROUGH MARILYN AND PROOF!(right, Jeannie?!)
Who could have been better for an interview? From one fake friend(Junie girl--said she was Marilyn's buddy for 11 years) to another fake flake! So the kick off the show rreflected on the time jeannie star had to show off her tight jeans an amazing body considering that she is almost 80 years young.

Your kidding right? WHAT OTTO is going through???
This exhibit is an out and out fraud.
Unless Mr. Otto is a mentally challenged man who is so completely unfamiliar with the history of Marilyn Monroe AND the history of American made products then there is NO EXCUSE for this absolute travesty afloat the QUEEN MARY.
I know absolute novices on Marilyn Monroe who have been through this exhibit and walked out feeling VIOLATED by the whole event. They felt ripped off and devastated that they traveled as far as they did and spent the money they did to see absolute JUNK.
PLEASE DO US A FAVOR AND DO NOT MAKE EXCUSES FOR THIS MAN--THIS EXHIBIT AND THIS MAN ARE SO FAR BEYOND EXCUSES.

OOPS! Sorry, just posted the wrong link. So let's get back to Otto and his trashy collection. That is more interesting than the work they have done (or not) to Jennie Carmen's and Tony Curtis's face.
Can anybody tel "Miss Carmen" that heavy surgery can also result in death, as the case of that Beverly Hills Real Estate Lady who just died due to heavy scary face implants a la Frankenstein, lead to this death. Forgot her name. Maybe that wil wake up some PS addicts now.
Here is the real link for the Press Telegram article. I will post them also on my website.
