Long before there was "just do it" and "go for it" and all the other such slogans, the legendary Ernie Banks coined the best phrase ever to embody the joy and enthusiasm of doing something really fun: "Let's play two!"
Considering that Banks never ever got to play in a World Series, instead spending his entire brilliant career playing shortstop for the perennial cellar-dwelling Chicago Cubs, that he carried his cheerful attitude with him throughout his career says it all about this great ballplayer. You GO Ernie!
I use this phrase on days I'm just bursting to get out of bed and on with the day. Like today. Hoo-yah.
