Basically if you want to lose weight by taking leptopril, it would be much cheaper to drink a pot of coffee then stick your finger down your throat. I am seeing that some of these posts say Leptopril only cost them 20-30 dollars. I am insanely mad that i spent 79 dollars plus 16.95 for the shipping...

Dave have you heard any negative things mentioned about Herbalife????
I hope not, because I finally have found something that really works for me.

I personally bought Leptopril two days ago, now i just think i have to much energy, it takes me a long time to go to sleep and i hate that but i dont eat as i used to ,which is great. I sincerely have alot of confidence that it will work, as far as diet pills dont work, well i have a buddy that actually took another pill about four years ago with exercise and we both used to be overweight, but now hes skinny and it was because of the pills. Dont get me wrong i havent seen results yet but it has been only two days, if it dont work ill make sure to spread the word around this particully pill.

okay, first of all, my step father did take the pill and said it did in fact decrease his appetite whether psychological or not, it worked for him, who has the right to say whether it is right or not.

Second of all, in response to a post from about a year ago :#6

01:14 AMSadly, the name Anorexa is understandable, taken from the purely mercenary and ruthless point of view these businesses surely have. Many people (especially young women) are so desperate to lose weight by any means, some of them set anorexia as their conscious goal.

I really wish I was joking about that.

It would be a tasteless joke, to be sure, but not nearly so disturbing as the reality of the situation."

THAT IS THE SINGLE MOST DISGUSTING and uneducated thing I have ever read. Anyone with even a little bit of knowledge knows that anorexia nervosa is NOT merely a decision. You do not wake up one day and say hmmm, why don't I just become anorexic and I will lose weight. Anyone who has ever tried not eating to lose weight will tell you how impossible it is! There are a number of psychological factors UNRELATED to weight or weight loss that influence whether an individual does or does not develop the DISEASE.

Get your facts straight before you go posting inconsiderate statements like that.

Just because someone is desperate enough to try a diet pill doesn't make them stupid or deserving to die. Insulting people who are actively trying to make their lives better is petty and childish. Lets not forget that people who are obese are treated like second class citizens and made to feel ugly and unworthy. The fact they would be willing to try something that could potentially kill them just to lose weight and fit into society shows how desperate they have become. Weight loss is not usually about becoming healthy, its usually about fitting in with society's standards. Also, this pill isn't just being sold on television anymore. It has moved into stores, pharmacies we all trust. Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS...all carry this pill.

Why is it that so many of you insist on putting other people down? Why are you visiting this site? Are you Fat, thin, average, black, white, yellow or green and stupid... who of any of you are better than the other? Smarter than the "White trash fat mobile home owner you all seem to have such harsh feelings for? If it makes all of you feel better about yourselves to put others down... maybe you all should seek some of your own medical attention... the mental kind!!! I am an average white woman who lives in an upscale neighborhood and is smart enough to seek medical attention when needed... but that doesn't make me any better than the people you all want to put down. Do I live off my husband... the government... or whomever? Am I "white trash" or fat and stupid? You don't know do you? But hurry... pass judgement on me... quick before you have the chance to focus on your own life issues. All kinds of people in this world have all kinds of issues... just do yourself a favor while you are too busy looking down on others... don't trip and fall...

And the government?...They should have stronger advertising and drug or supplement regulations to keep these kinds of scams from over running our airways... correct!!! As far as the govenment goes... they do what they want, when they want, putting themselves in front of the publics need for regulation. So.. in my opinion (I'll share mine like so many of you have)... try to focus on yourselves more than putting down what you consider to be trash!!!! Who are you all anyway? Oh wait!!!! You are better than all the white trash, fat, stupid and lazy people who can't seem to get off the couch. And do I care what you think of me or anyone else for that matter? NO...

Poor "Angry" must not read very much if my little comment #6 was the single most disgusting and uneducated thing he or she has ever read. There's also a clear shortage of reading comprehension. I never said "all people with anorexia got the disease because they chose to get it," which Angry seems to think I'd said. Of course diseases like anorexia are more complex than anyone simply deciding to get them.

Nevertheless, there does exist a subculture of people who call themselves "pro-anorexia," people who consciously attempt to become anorexic or stay anorexic. They do this solely to appease our society's inexorable demand for everyone to be thinner.

I'd look up some links and post them here to prove what I'm saying is true, but I'd rather not give such groups any more traffic than they already get.

For all the ones attacking this product, you have never even tried it, you're just going on your paranoia that tells you for SURE that someone must be screwing you over. Stop being so negative, and don't knock it till you try it. It makes me so full that I can't eat more than about 200 cals per meal. I've lost 6.6 pounds in five days.

I bought Leptopril today and have to admit I am liking the results so far. I am a new mom (not breastfeeding due to certain circumstances) who is still very overweight from the pregnancy and has no energy due to a new child (who doesn't sleep)with a dad who works the night shift, working part-time, and starting my final semester of school. Although I cannot vouch for whether this product is valid on it's weight loss I can say I haven't had this much energy in a long time. I am only taking 1 pill twice a day but that is enough.I have yet to feel nauseated or jittery or any of the other symptoms I have read other people have. Hopefully it works.

If it doesn't work it really doesn't bother me though.Im one of the lucky ones, I got 2 bottles for 9.99 a piece at GNC and with the GNC gold card discount I only ended up spending $15.

I loved your article Dave but you haven't even come close to how big of a scam plot this bogus diet pill really is.

You see, selling effective products in any industry let alone the diet pill industry is an arduous taks. The best selling products are rarely the most effective products. Instead they have the most effective and clever marketing campaigns and tactics.

The marketing team over at Klein-Becker (the name is meant to manipulate in itself)are masterful at manipulating consumers and exploiting there weaknesses. They manipulated in at least 2 other ways which you failed to mention.

First, they really raked it in by setting a price so high, that the their target would assume that it is apparently a wonder drug. If they priced the uneffective product at $19.95 (with plenty of profit), they probably wouldn't sell near the quantity. So their clever advertisement not only sucked in far more desperate dieters who wouldn't pay $20 for their product but would't hesitate to pay $150, their profit was 8 times that of which was reasonable. Best of both worlds-huh?

Secondly, they also drew in all of the 5-10 pound overweighters by telling them if they are not at least 20 pounds overweight- it is not for them! I'll bet at least 40% of those they baited, were 5-10 pounds overweight. They too, wouldn't have bought the product if it wasn't $153 per bottle and better yet if it was actually designed for people 5-10 pounds overweight.

I caught all of this the very first time I saw their ad more than a year ago. I formerly designed these clever marketing plans and generated millions from them in multiple industries. You might be surprised to learn that these same type of psycological tactics are often deployed in fortune 100 corporations to market their products. Remember the employee discounts all of the automobile manufacturers were giving about a year ago? You can get as good of a price if not better today on another unprecedented now or never deal. Make no mistake about it!

Everyone is just trying to survive and earn a living in our capitalistic free enterprise system. They just do not know how to win a consumers free will even with a good product with so many competitors manipulating their desperately needed customers. The only solution they have is to out manipulate their competition. Believe me they have tried everything else. It just doesn't pay the bills or satisfy their investors.

I feel bad for the legitimate company which actually develops a diet pill which costs substantially more to produce in order to deliver more effective results. They will lose enormous revenue for everyone that took a Leptopril lesson at their expense.

These challenges and practices are in every industry. It has only resulted in a more leery and cynical consumers and damaged reputations. It will continue for a little while longer and then our system will burst like never before. Remember that you read this.

you guys are a bunch of retards. i have been taking Leptopril for about 2 weeks and 1 have lost 8 pounds and it does not make me feel like shit like everyone else says. It has suppressed my appetite without making me feel like barfing every time i see food. Did you ever think that some of these people may not be used to a ton of caffeine in the first place? I have always darnk tons of caffeine and i dont feel any different from taking these than i would from drinking a mt. dew. if you arent used to caffeine maybe you shouldn't take them but they work great for me. Also, i am a registered pharmacy technician and i know my pills pretty well and judging from the iggredients in Leptopril they work. Also i had my boss, a pharmacist, look at them and she said that they look like they would work pretty well based on the ingredients. So i would like to know
who th ehell this Dave guy is and why he thinks he knows anything about Leptopril. Is he a doctor or does he have any medical background or any kind of college experience like i do? H esounds like he is just some loser you sits on his ass on internet all day long and trys to pretend that he actually has the medical knowledge that i do have to back up his claims that these dont work. bottom line, I work in a pharmacy , i have researched the ingredients, they do work and i will continue to take them and keep you updated on my progress.

For those who keep saying no one has tried the product-I bought leptopril 4 months ago to speed up the weight loss. 5"7 200pnds when I begin losing weight 8 months ago. In the 4 months before leptopril I did all the right things and lost 31 pounds. When I added leptopril I had no change in the amount of time I was losing weight. It says in "a few weeks" you will see a difference, I cut my workouts in half to see how strong it was if it even worked. I gained 3 pounds. I kept on leptopril for 1 full month and saw absolutely no change in weight loss except was I was already getting from the dieting and workouts. If you want to lose weight then you will. It's that simple. If you're serious about it you will lose weight. No magic pill is going to help you. I have never been fit, and have lived constantly 30 to 50 pounds overweight from about the age of 8. I am now 20 and have gotten down from 200pnds to 165pnds. If you're going to waste your money on a diet program how about Jenny or Weight Watchers. They inlcude a sensible diet and excorsize program. You've tried the pill that doesn't work, every weight loss pill! Go to one of these programs and memorize what to do...that would be a hell of a lot cheaper.

weight gain tablets have yet to work for me but ive only tried low budget "fat blaster" tablets. maybe a more expenise product might work because it has better ingrediants?!
scrolling through this seeing that there is all different outcomes! dont be simple minded and just do what total strangers tell you to do. just because there pesimists. just because they csnt afford them. well im going to see how they work for a couple of months.

There's a sucker born every minute. Um, 'my say,' there aren't a lot of different reports, really. Exercise is what burns fat, and these pills are simply snake oil, priced high enough to lure in desparate people. In a couple of months, you're going to be several hundred dollars poorer, and no thinner unles you exercise, too. Exercise is free. Start walking every day instead.

Imaria, that's a pretty amusing comment, but I don't believe that's an even remotely true story.

At this rate I can't imagine that I won't burn more calories, hopefully it works. I will let you know in a couple of weeks. I do wish I would of known about Hoodia before I bought this. Wal-mart sells it for cheaper than Leptopril and everyone says it works!! So if you are reading this and aren't sure what to purchase, than try Hoodia first. Believe me, I will after this bottle of Leptopril if not sooner!

O.K,here it goes...First , I have been overweight most of my life. Iam 32 years old and after my second child, and having to take a shot for endometriosis, I have ballooned up to 240 pounds at 5'7. The shot I take causes weight gain. Not everone who is big, or even BIG BIG, shovels it in all day, and lays on the couch. Also my husband and I work makeing $100,000.00 a year together, we are not trailer trash or uneducated. Also we didn't vote "Bush", which should show that we are very un stupid-unlike some. To all of you who keep saying to go to your doctor...I have many times and everything they have to offer don't work and costs a bundle>most insurance won't pay for these things. You wonder why people try this stuff A.MONEY BACK GARENTEE can't get your money back from the doctor for the pills or the office visit. Also for all you diet and exercise folks...I have lost weight four times like that in my 32 years and it never stays off. The only way I was able to do it was 800 calories a day, walking 3 miles, to 5 a day 6 glasses of water, weight lifting and 50 situps at night. Yes I lost it but guess what after a while you slowly gain it back and unless I want to go under 800 calories a day I will gain, which brings me to the straight fact that did anyone ever think that maybe some people really do have a real health problem that science has not yet figured out yet? Did you ever think that maybe when someone says the really can't loose weight, that maybe its cause they really can't and that they are just shoveling the food in?? After all once folks thought the world was flat, and guess what??THEY WERE WRONG. We are not as advanced as we think, compaired to what we are going to find in the future, but don't listen to me, I'm just a fat uneducated welfare recieving trailor tras lady who deserves to die , because I'm fat right? You folks who said all those things are very uneducated on this subject or you would have never said such stupid things. There are true health issues that some people have ,especially wemon, because now days wemon have so many "female" problems. Did anyone stop to think that maybe we should get on the government to find out why our wifes, mothers, aunts, sisters, grandmothers, etc. are having so many problems that in turn led to weight gain?? Such as crap that is allowed in our foods, air, etc. I don't know about you but I think feeding a cow something to make it grow faster just might make us grow morw too. Who knows maybe we'll find that out in the future, unless the government already knows, but won't tell?? And I have not tryed this pill but have tryed many, and found a couple that do work(without bad side effects). Guess what it gets ripped of the shelf a month later. Why? could it be that maybe it is safe but think about it...if you find something that works that means not as much heart disease, not as much diabetes, and lots of other problems gone right? Who's pockets would that hurt?Doctors, hospitals all those tax dollars on medicines ect. gone. That why the Government don't wont to keep a product that works. So it killed two people out of how many? Do you not think that doctor recomended drugs don't kill??Cause they do!! That is also why the government won't yank the products off the shelfs that don't work> because look at all the tax dollars on all that junk!!The diet industry is the biggest, think about it people, we can put a man on the moon and cure some diseases, but we can't figure out how to cure the fat problem in America. Don't make sense does it?? To Sparky, on self control...please there are other addicts in this world other than sex addicts, alcoholics, drug addicts, etc. etc. I truely believe some folks are cab addicts and sugar addicts.Think about that, if your addicted to alcohol you can just quit? No, its a little known fact that even help for whatever addict, more than likely don't work, but maybe short turm, BUT SHAME ON ALL US FAT PEOPLE, BECAUSE WE HAVE NO SELF CONTROL--GET A CLUE, PLEASE!!!!!!!And Thankyou to post #79-because fat people ARE THE MOST DISCRIMINATED against. Heres a fact..have you ever truely known a fat person who is constantly busy and doesn't seem to eat much, but guess what they are fat?AND THAN you know someone else who is thin does sit around watching the tube all day, and eats like a pig, and is super thin. Now how can that be if what some of you are saying is so educated? Science will find this out one day if they haven't already. I just want to finish by saying,WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE OF IGNORANCE...FAT FOLKS TRYING A DIET PRODUCT, OR TELLING US WERE STUPID AND DESERVE TO DIE????

All these people who think they are so intelligent but put down on others, even 'white trash' are just ignorant and socially retarded. What is interesting is that anyone with even a small amount of intelligence knows that people hate and see in others what they can't see in and hate about themselves so.... When I read someones insults to another person or group of people, I can get a VERY clear picture of who THEY really are.

Wow, came across this site quite by accident. I read many of the comments, I hate to be different, but after I've tried everything else, I lost 162lbs using Leptopril. It's not a miracle aid by no means, however it did have an affect on controlling my hunger and at the same time I was honest with my Doctor told him what I was taking, and between that, diet, and exercise, what can I say, it worked. Maybe it's just physcological (sorry if I spelled that wrong), if you spend a lot of money, it stay's in your mind. loose the weight! Besides I got this at your local neighborhood pharmacy for $ 39.99 a month. Good luck to all those who are frustrated with weight products, I know how you feel.

  • 156 - Robyn

    Dec 12, 2007 at 11:17 am

I thought I would come back and share with you how I lost my 162lbs on Leptopril. My weight gain was from an accident I was in that left me in a wheel chair for 3 yrs and left me permanently disabled. I went from 120 to 320 lbs because I couldn't move. Talk about depression. I lost 38lbs on my own and then that was as far as my body seemed it would go. Then I after talking to my Doctor, we had an option for surgery or to possibly trying to "kick start" my body's metabolism. He did suggest that I stay away from products that have Ephedra in it and I found by accident the Leptopril product with no Ephedra. It took 8 1/2 years for the weight to get where it was, so I knew it was not going to be overnight to get it off. My body had to get used to the changes and not just jump into it like many people do, that's where you go wrong. The first week, I took one pill in the morning and changed my breakfast diet only (mainly to Special K products), the next week I took one pill with breakfast and then one pill with lunch (changing my lunch to mainly low fat products, the week following I took one pill with breakfast, one pill with lunch, then began one pill with dinner (now changing my dinner to low fat items only), the following week I began taking two pills with breakfast, one with lunch and one with dinner, the following week I began then taking two with breakfast, two with lunch, and one with dinner. The following week after that I was up to two with each. Also, everytime I would take the Leptopril 30min before I would eat with a full glass of water. While on the Leptopril, the hardest part was stopping all caffeine products before starting the diet. Once I started the Leptopril, my energy started to increase, by the time I was on the full two pills before each meal, I no longer craved any junk food, any junk food I had, I replaced with fruit and various Weight Watcher's deserts. I found that I lost the weight in little over 14 months and when I reached my goal weight, I tapered my body off exactly the same way I went on, I worked it backwards, two pills with breakfast, two pills with lunch, one with dinner, the next week, two pills with breakfast, one pill with lunch and one with dinner, the following week, one pill with breakfast, one pill with lunch, one with dinner, the following week, one pill with breakfast, one with lunch, none, with dinner, I think you can follow it from there. From weaning my body off of the pills and not just stopping cold turkey, I've been able to keep the weight off for almost two years, in fact I've lost an additional 5lbs. And the most important of all, I've trained my body to crave the right kind of foods. So there is no miracle drug or quick fix, but I looked at Leptopril as an aid in helping me change my lifestyle and you know what.... it worked!

  • 157 - Go Leptopril!

    Dec 12, 2007 at 3:57 pm

I lost 37 pounds thanks to Leptopril. Having a pear shape, I tend to gain weight. I decided at 5'9" and 206 lbs to go on a diet. I still had a nice hour glass shape but I had the belly and jiggly thighs so I wanted a change. I went on Leptopril. Two pills a day. Yeah, it made me shakey and butterflies took up residence in my stomach, but I lost 8 pounds in 5 days. I just drank some warm water or herbal tea and the butterflies went away. I mean, I weighed 206 lbs on a Monday and by Saturday I weighed 198 lbs. I have been drinking lots of water, eating fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, berries 6 times a day and I have to this day lost 37 lbs in 3 weeks averaging 8 lbs every 5 days. You are supposed to eat up to 6 times a day. If you don't eat breakfast within 3 hours after you wake up you increase your chance of obesity by 6 percent. Then, if you eat every 2-3 hours (healthy things of course) your body will be a constant fat burning machine and Leptopril helps you out a lot. Things like fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, berries and lean meats naturally burn fat. Sometimes people need help to get motivated. Leptopril did it for me. All those people out there who are anti-Leptopril probably did not follow the instructions. Being motivated to get off your fat behind isn't as comforting as mashed potatos.

I realize that after all that is read, this seems to be yet another ploy to try to sell a product. When you sign on, don't you think it's ironic that a book is promoted for The Best and The Worst Pills? Another $15 + Shipping for dieters to become even more confused. If one really cared, information would be shared at no cost to help one another, but it's evident that it appears "let's scare the over weight people" and then, boom, perhaps they will buy this book! This makes you no better than the people you are pointing your finger at!

You can't make a good arguement when you post your writing in the way you did. At least take a moment to get the dictionary and check your spelling. You can't claim you're intelligent, make excuses, put yourself above everyone else, and put yet even more people down without correctly backing your own arguement. This whole page should be deleted! I can't believe all of you people fell for yet another sales pitch.

I am absolutely disgusted by some of these posts. Everyone who has been criticizing those who use or have used this diet pill needs to hop right off their high horse. Stop acting like you are so above falling for a scam. Sure you didnt fall for this one but shame on you for thinking you are so much better than the people that may have. I cant judge personally Ive never used the product, but you should all know you aren't above being fooled. In whatever arena it may have been--I can hardly bring myself to believe that you have never been persuaded under false pretenses. Either way pretentious chastising attitudes will neither solve the obesity problem in this country nor prevent the appearance of funture weight loss scams.

Finally! A person with some compassion and intelligence. People would benefit more from supportive people than those who do nothing but put other people down. It's bad enough that the media is focusing on the obese people with all of their diet adds on TV trying to shame people into making a New Year's resolution. You would think our Government would get involved and not allow companies to make money off of products that if not taken with caution, could cause more health problems. But unfortunately, today no company really cares about the benefit of the consumers it sells to, bottom line, our society is greedy and money at the cost of each individual's health is no concern to them. Perhaps if all obese people got together and formed a class action law suit for mental anguish, maybe, just maybe, these companies will wake up and quit praying on the emotions of people making them feel like failures when they are not.

Mr. Dave Nalle - I don't see MD after your name. What makes you an expert on people, and their health? Your comments against the American people and companies in general don't speak well for you at all. You apparently have too much time on your hands. Forgive me for saying, but it sounds like you're a "glorified" complainer and are just using the Web to force your views on others. From what I read above, I agree, you are no better than the people and the Governmental parties you are attacking. Instead of writing about it and if you care that much about the American system, why don't you get off of your "ass" and do something about it. Hmmm...makes you sound like a politian doesn't it.

I took Leptopril for 18 months and lost 150lbs and have now kept it off for over 2 years! While it might not works for all it does work for some and there are others at the weight loss support forum that I am a member of that have the same kinds of success!

I just started taking Leptopril, and so far I notice it gives me an insane amount of energy, and I run to the bathroom to much. One thing I have to say is no plan and product is perfect, so hopefully people in the future who bash any attmepts at weightloss, including both diet and exercise and Leptopril, should actuallt talk to someone first who's actually going through the experience. Iguess it's easy for people to judge and critic behind the safety of thier laptop, hmm? Please elaborate to your audience as to how you lost wiehgt, if you have. I mean since you're obviously an expert and everything!!

    Hello everyone.

I just love how everyone is sitting here bashing products that do actually work and help the people who do not lose the weight by just diet and exerise.

Heres a little example of this:

I myself was a 20 year old 260+ male who was in need of loosing a good bit of weight. So I did what everyone else does, I was walking 4+ miles a day, took out all red meat in my diet, would run 3+miles a day (thats ontop of the 4 miles of walking) stoped eating at fast foods restarunts etc.. Took out all soda from my diet and replaced it with water. Starting eating a good healty breakfast and fruits on a daily basis (i HIGHLY recomend Poms...pain in the ass to eat, but so friggen good) I was taking in less calories that i was burning (so they say) and I gained another 30lbs pushing myself very close to 300lbs.

This just wasent right, I was doing everything right, following my diet and everything so then i reached out to the diet pills and waht do you know, im now down to 150lbs. in about a year.

You say it dosent work, how would you explain my situation?

(Please dont think that im being a asshole or anything like that by posting this, and im not trying to start any kind of fights or anything on here, I just would realy like to hear what some of you would say about this.)

    Thanks

    Chris

For me, it's either this or gastric bypass. The DOCTORS are all for major surgery!
I've been taking this for just 2 days and have had to force myself to eat. I can't sit still and my house has never been so clean.
People that are seriously overweight are in danger.
We don't need to be insulting anyone. We should be helping each other.
Even IF this stuff works because of a placebo effect, it's better than major surgery!

Hi,how's it going everyone? Hopefully your all aware that a high percentage of persons who visit this website are leptopril users, or seriously thinking of trying leptopril! That's actually how i stumbled across this blog site. I've read over the entire page and all i'm here to say is, that i've tried leptopril, and i'm a current user! Meaning i'm on the drug right now, and i just passed up a delicious plate of pancakes, bacon, scrambled cheese eggs, grits, toast and jam that were made for me! Honestly i'm not hungry, and i'm full of energy! Instead i'm having a big cup of ice water and curling my dumbbells between sentences. Since reading some of the comments, i've heard it's purely mental and psychological! We'll in my case i've been using the product for about a month, and i've loss my desired weight amount for my quarterly bmi weight in, and i'm looking really physically fit. Leptopril, psychologically gave me the "mental strength" to achieve my goal, and now the ladies are physically saying " hey jay u look great, wanna go out on a date" lol well it doesn't always rhyme, but i have to go, literally,(with all this water i've been drinking) lol! oh yeah, please wish me good luck, i'll be deploying soon! Peace and encouragement to all.

most people who talk about scams and such probably to the pill and it either didnt work for them or they didnt take it religiously like what expected. Yea its not as healthy as cutting calories and exercising but does anybody know what its like to be 200+ pounds and start the same meal and exercise plan as some one 130 pounds. yea right so people need a boost to get them to the point that they can start a healthy regiment. And Im sure I can speak for many people when I say its not necessary to use terms like "pig" when describing people who are more than likely sensitive about such things.
