Justification for Abortion

Author: SharkPublished: Aug 07, 2004 at 8:45 am 23 comments

I've always been ambivalent about abortion; I know it's a necessary evil, but personally, I find the act incredibly distasteful — which might be easy for me to say due to the fact that I'm not a female who has the potential to face the question in a real-world scenario.

But from my limited perspective, I'm opposed to abortion for moral reasons.

That was until I saw this:

This is Lynndie England, the inbred, redneck Army Pfc who recently became Pin-Up Girl at Abu Ghraib Prison in Iraq. Apparently, between abusing prisoners and posing for photos giving a thumbs up with a ciggy-butt dangling from her mug, she was also able to find the time to get knocked-up by some inbred redneck Army Pfc who had more testosterone than taste in sexual partners.

I think this photo is probably the best advertisement for legal, mandatory abortions that we'll ever see — and maybe even a possible justification for mandatory post-partum abortions to be performed on adults.

post partum for sure - she certainly does little to improve the impression people have of West Virginia.

Oh, and just fo the record camo does very little to hide that pregancy weight gain. Sheesh, try black next time, it can be very slimming!

Dawn, good call on the Camos.

BTW: When the American Army has pregnancy camo uniforms available, you KNOW we're fucked.

Yet another sign of The End Times.

I think the only reason skanks like Ms. England join the military is the disproportionate male-to-female ratio. They figure they'll have young, athletic men vigorously competing for their affections. Sadly, the above photograph is evidence that this is true... :-/

I read somewhere that one of the arguments against abortion is that some who deserved to live die instead. Using that same logic, some who deserve to die live instead. So, in order to remedy that, maybe what we need is retroactive abortion.

Ironically, some of the anti-abortionists are arguments for abortion -- and the 'creationism' crowd is a definite example of evolutionary throwbacks and tiny brains.

The father of the baby is Charles Grainer, the specialist who was the alleged ringleader of the prison abuse. You might remember him as the big guy with the thick coke-bottle glasses in those pictures and also as the co-star of pornographic pictures taken with Ms. England. You can only imagine what a sociopath that child has the potential to be with those two as parents.

    Abortion's hot.

    That is all.

I lived in West Virginia, but I am not sure if that is a good thing for the state or a bad thing.

As for abortion being "hot" - what do you mean? That is a very confusing and kind of disturbing statement.

    I'm joking, of course.

But I'm very serious about now referring to everything as "hot." It's something I'm going to make a point of after meeting countless young women this past weekend who now insist on dressing and talking like Paris Hilton, with nothing to say about anything other than "That's hot." As horribly annoying as that is, I still gave it to em fortissimo, though, you know what I'm sayin? Know what I'm sayin?

Anyway, don't talk about politics, folks. Let's just say everything's hot.

    Loves it! That is all.

And as Chris Rock says, if you pick up a chick at Planned Parenthood, you know she puts out.

    Blame Chris Rock, not me.

    That is all.

Having watched now 2 seasons of simple life, it seems to me that Nicole always said "that's hot" and Paris only did it once in a while to humor her. It also seemed to me that Nicole did everything annoying. If I was Paris' parents, I'd talk to her about that Nicole.

Why wasn't my comment (actually, comments) merely [edited]?

    Why were they erased entirely?

I have fully supported your tenure here as Comment Czar, but why are you now completely erasing comments instead of merely edited them?

Justene, I have a very serious question.

Do you ever wear thongs? Just wondering if our censor is uptight.

RJ: why would you fully support censorship when you were once banned? I don't really understand that from you.

    That is all.
