Important Santa Claus Information

Dear Children O' the World,

NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) will be tracking Santa's travels around the world again this year. On the right hand side of the NORAD website homepage you will see "NORAD Tracks Santa." Click on this and it will take you to the page where Santa's travel time is being counted down. On Christmas Eve, NORAD will begin tracking Santa as soon as he leaves the North Pole. This will allow you to know where he is any time during the day or night until Christmas morning.

NORAD is a real military site within the dot-mil domain (.mil). This is the exclusive domain of all United States Military websites. If your parent is in the military or works for the military, their email address is a .mil address and their workplace website is also on the .mil domain. Lots of people can visit .mil websites, but only military persons and those who work for the military can put information on the .mil domain.

Tracking Santa is serious business. It requires a lot of expensive equipment and people working very hard around the clock to monitor his whereabouts. Thanks to the United States Military, we will all know just when to get to bed!

If you would like to write a letter to Santa, this is his address:

Santa Claus
North Pole HOH OHO
Canada

It almost doesn't matter what language you speak or what country you're from — Santa will answer your letter in your language, even if you are blind and type your letter in Braille. The Canadian Postal System provides the one and only correct address for Santa. Canada is the only country with the only Postal System that handles Santa's mail and they make sure it all gets to him.

The "HOH OHO" is the postal code for the North Pole and was set up by the Canadian Postal System for Santa Claus only. No one else can use that postal code. There is a lot to learn about Santa and the North Pole and lots of ways to have fun at the Canadian Postal System's website for Santa.

If you know of another child who might be interested in this information, please pass it along to them.

Happy Holidays!

I thought the HOH OHO zipcode went directly to Jenna Jameson's house.

Wow. Santa's really gonna be confused when he reads my letter.

Diana - This was cool. My family has been using NORAD's Santa tracker for a few years now. Even now, that they are a bit older, my boys still enjoy it.

    Thanks!

    All my best,

Please refrain from personal attacks on Santa. I'm 46 and I still believe in him and so do my kids. Plus I am surprised that this site would post negative mail against Santa.
