Heard in the DC Metro

I heard this conversation in the DC Metro last night as I was returning home from gallery hopping around Dupont Circle. Two young girls in their 20s, wearing Bush Kicked Ass buttons were talking to each other and one said that she had heard a great joke:

This liberal is so upset with Bush's huge victory at the elections that he decides to move to Canada.

So he goes to the Canadian Embassy, where they tell him that all but one immigration visas allotted to Americans are gone - there's only one left and it costs $50 to apply - cash only.

He only has $49.99 with him and he panicks, as he doesn't want to lose the chance to apply. So he runs out onto the street, and approaches the first person who's walking by, who happens to be smiling and wearing a Bush button.

"Sir," says the agitated liberal. "I'm a left wing liberal and I can't believe we lost the election and I've decided to move to Canada and need a penny so that I can move."

The man reaches into his wallet and gives the Liberal one hundred bucks and says, "Here, take 10,000 of your friends with you."
