Finding Love - Venus Exalted in Pisces: Astrology-based Advice

pisces necklaceHi Elsa,

I'm kind of lost in my life. I'm very good at what I do, but I’ve never had much confidence with relationships. Can you tell me if I'll ever find that woman that I am searching for? Sometimes I feel like no one fits my requirements.

Help!
Lost

Dear Lost,

Your chart made me cry. It’s that beautiful. It’s soulful like a poet and we (the collective) have got to get you a partner! Now I’m going to write this in somewhat nebulous astrology and hopefully get it by my editor. This is the deal:

You have Venus in Pisces, which is its exalted position. It's the best Venus you can buy. It means you can love and love and love, without boundaries. There are no rules to your love. There are no edges. It just goes out there, like music and I’ll explain.

There is a venue here locally where musicians play. They only open this place in the summer because it’s cold here and the place is akin to a shack. By that, I mean it’s a wooden building but there are holes clean through – spaces between the slats, where you can see in... and the music inside can get out.

So picture this: there’s a musician on stage, and people inside who have paid to see them. But people can sit out on the grass around the building and hear the music just fine. And they can peek in, too. And this is my point.

Your love is like this music. It is not contained. It’s leaking out at all times, going out in the world. It is enhancing the world. And I’m telling you this because I think it may be unbeknownst to you. And if I’m right about that, then you have little clue who you are. And if you have little clue who you are, you are going to be a little less lost.

Elsa -- how helpful to us all. The music in the drafty barn fablet is wonderful. Whether Lost Finds someone with a Music-&-Love Catcher, I can't predict, but you certainly have given him a quantum-nudge in confidence. And thoughtful pleasure to us all. Thanks.

pogblog - thanks for the great feedback. Sometimes I wonder if I am too woo-woo and it's great to know this is accessible. :)

Elsa .. if some 'they' think it's woo woo, it's their problem. Please promise to never let them clip your wings.

There are always folks whose imagination is to dump their chamberpots on people's posts, but piffle & re-piffle on them.

Your stuff has charm and strength. And as a Scorpio, I never say nice things to people unless I mean them to the bone, as you would know. Cheers,

Thanks again, pogblog. I can't imagine anyone is ever going to shut me up. But I do wonder sometimes and a post like yours is enormously gratifying. Especially on a post like this one. It's difficult to write about Neptune. So many people are defended against things "fairy". Like only money matters. Or appearence. You get the idea.

But anyway...I intend to write this column (virtually) every day for the rest of my life. And yeah. Supportive words from a Scorp count double (at least). :)

what makes this system of astrology any more accurate than any other - like the Chinese or the Indian?

    Else:

Cool, I can dig it. Of course, the question of astrology comes up. No worries, quite valid. The Chinese have a good 10,000 years of information on the subject.
Also, you know how it is accepted that the moon's gravity has an effect on tides, women's cycles, etc? OK, those planets out there have some serious gravity (I would weigh 1000 pounds on Jupiter). That stuff does have an effect...
It is all much more complex than reading a column in the paper. Anyway, keep it up. I dig it and can interpret what you might be trying to say.
Oh, I was born 11/17/57 in Chicago, 6:11am. Intense, eh? Where will life lead me? Astrology can be thought of as one's personal 'blueprint'.
    Anyway...

aamanlamba - I would not say that western astrology is more accurate than other systems. It's just what I grew up with - have studied all my life.

I know virtually nothing about Chinese astrology. I am fascinated with Vedic astrology and have tried to study it. I have applied myself...even picked up an online guru some years ago. I was teaching him mine, while he was teaching me his, however, I still can't read a Vedic chart. I just can't get it to gel.

Not sure I've given up permanently. But after a year of intense focus, with mostly a headache as a result...well it just may not be my calling.

Douglas Mays - My period comes each month with the full moon and I am sort of proud. :D Makes me think I am in tune /in line. However I also think I am a bit of a dipshit so thinking this may amuse me more than anything else. :D

Elsa - the moon, you are in tune. Amusement? Heck, there is some guidance to it all, isn't there?
