I am a Bangladeshi man living in Bangladesh, where female circumcision is an extremely uncommon practice. I learned about this practice through my girlfriend who is also my university classmate. She is almost a Bangladeshi woman, living in Bangladesh since she was 14. Her mother is from Egypt but her father is a Bangladeshi.
