As a Psychiatric RN, I was pleased to see Donald allowed Miss USA to maintain her title. You go, Donald! While many people may not realize the impact this move has, I do. He gave this young woman a well-deserved second chance.
All too often, as Behavioral HealthCare professionals, we see people being ostracized and stigmatized for having substance abuse and psychiatric problems when in fact, they deserve dignity, respect and an opportunity to succeed.

I disagree with what Mr. Trump did in allowing
Miss USA to continue with her title. I don't think that someone who girls lookup to as a role model should be excused for their behavior. Making excuses for this is showing all young girls that it is ok to do something wrong and not pay the consequences for their actions. I'm sorry that this happened, but repeat, I am tired of hearing about people not taking responsibility their actions, and Miss USA if she has any honor left, would resign and hopefully the next future Miss USA's would learn from this incident.

"ROSIE"--I could give DT an earful (he definitely hasn't heard) about that woman. And, he's grossly errant in trusting Barbara Walters. She'll say anything to keep herself in the middle, but has repeatedly shown a serious lack of education in her interviews, especially with foreign nationals. Walters has no concept of international business relations, and common courtesy in dealing with other nationalities.
Rosie was self-serving back when Ford was sponsoring her show, and she mucked up that one, as well. Frankly, its sad--not a personal issue, just plain sad.
