I've always dug the dogs playing poker (especially in velvet) and was especially jealous of my friend who proudly displayed the classic depiction on his wall during freshman year of college.
Nowadays, I like to bring up the subject as a joke/threat when the wife attempts to put through an umpteenth home redesign.

How many know that "Dogs Playing" art was painted as a cynical rejection of other ubiquitous velvet paintings of the day, (dejected Christ in various scenes, always in gory detail)?
