I do not agree with few points of Falak Ma'am.
First is discrimination by non-muslims in delhi society. Sincerely I myself have not experienced discrimination because I have a respected job where I deal with executives working in big corporates but I have a muslim friend who is manufacturing of some components like wall mounts, metal cabinets which he supplies to shopkeepers, he has told me that some of his customers do say sarcastic remarks like why are you making all these small parts, make a bomb earn lakhs in one go.
My other point is living in a muslim colony. Many muslim people prefer to live in a muslim colonies for sake of safety. It is well known that muslim colonies are so shabby, badly maintained. In contrast we are living in DDA MIG locality in north delhi for the last 25 years and we never felt unsafe here. The neighbours are well-mannered and either professionals or wealthy businessmen. I do agree that interaction between people is less but it is better than small-time colonies where they take much interest in interefering in other matters.
My view is that discrimination is there in the lower strata of the society against muslims but it is almost non-existent among educated people.
