You authorized. Remember you asked ... :-)

So I have one person saying 60 minutes is too long. And no one else has mentioned the time element - which doesn't necessarily mean they weren't thinking about it.
I listen to Podcasts while I'm doing other things, so time isn't a factor for me.
But how about it? Would 30 minutes be better?
--
No one has criticized it for the things I (self) criticized for it, so I will come to the conclusion that it's all in my head. :-)
Oct. 8 or 9 is the deadline for BRPS 2

Joanie -- You talked to me about Nevada's famous Chicken Ranch for a solid 10 minutes, which qualifies you as solidly not boring...

Temple, I think 60 is OK if we get more contributors and segments. I think 60 might be a tad too long with what we got this first time out of the box. My 2 cents.
EB, I hit the Google again. I found an 'OK' beep... just not a great one. If anyone finds a good beep, let me know. ;)
I think it would be cool if we could get some sort of audio chat-roundtable segment. Is it possible to get multiple people synced into iChat Audio?

I agree completely that we need more contributors. I am willing to help ANYBODY set themselves up with the ability to set up to record and send an mp3 of themselves doing something BC would be proud to run.
People are e-mailing me separately about this as well.

I think a 60 minute show will be better -- more room for more contributions.
Question -- if I have permission to use music on my own show, that should transfer into using it on BC, right?
32 - Temple Stark
In your particlar case (as I listen to your podcast and know to what you refer), it couldn't hurt to ask them. The transfer is probably a yes, but legally a no without a yes.

I am also willing to help in any way I can with folks who want to contribute. I am still learning (I think we all are) but whatever knowledge I might have acquired I am willing to pass along to others.
Temple, my contribution should be ready by week's end.

Well any sports news from here on will be more timely. That was not DJ's fault. He submitted when I was ready to go but then there were ... complications.
Hey maybe we'll dial it back to 30 minutes until the segments start rolling in and then we can expand. ...
35 - DJRadiohead
And I anticipated... complications- it's why I said, "As of the recording of this." Heh. Things happen. I am weeks behind in my writing and recording. I know how it is.
Not a bad idea about rolling back until we get the contributions increased, Temple. That might be the best way to go.

listenin now, loving it! tell me this, an tell me no more, whats the song played in the stark mix just after the proclaimers, concernin the "mighty missisip'" etc. sounds like The Louvin Brothers kinda. i love it.
37 - Aaron, Duke De Mondo
DJ, i'm gonna be listenin to your own casts after this, incidentally. haha you have a BRILLIANT radio voice, and dig that swearin! it fuckin rules!
38 - Aaron, Duke De Mondo
Phil, i haven't heard one of your shows since the first one (which i loved) on account of soundcard issues. however, i'm assuming this segment isn't from said instalment becuase A -i dont remember it, and B- you seem really more relaxed, it sounds great how you and the Missus play off one another there.
and Temple, great great job on the hosting, and also the gargantuan task of tyin all this together.
everyone is great in this. an diggin the music, including G.O.D, which i'd already heard, but it's good to hear it again, regardless.
39 - Temple Stark
Thanks for your unfettered and unbridled enthusiasm Duke. It's wildly appreciated.
40 - Phillip Winn
Duke, you are correct. That segment was from show #004, and I just published show #009.
Feel free to catch up! :-)
41 - Aaron, Duke De Mondo
Phillip, i'm feelin free as that bird Lennon waxed on an off about, i'm lookin forward to the catch-up!!
Temple, enthusiasm for such work is easily mustered!
great job here, folks, once again!
42 - Bob A. Booey
Sussman, we all want to hear your Kermit the Frog/Ray Romano voice.
I still wouldn't download it even for that.
That is all.
43 - Mark Sahm
I imagined him sounding more like a cross between Woody Allen and Howard Cosell.
44 - Bob A. Booey
Maybe more accurate, but I'm thinking high-pitched, kinda stoned-sounding with lots of voice cracking.
Like Shaggy.
Either that or really lethargic, monotone and stoned-sounding.
Like Chong.
That is all.
45 - Chelsea Snyder
You're all way off. He has a slightly nasally voice -- if you heard his voice, you'd know he's a nerd. (Sorry hon.) My best description would be a mix between Jimmy Fallon and Matt Damon.
And plan on a C-Lou appearance on the podcast after this weekend.
Now I am going to wait for stabs on what my voice sounds like ...
