Great Picks....I recommend that everyone read John Spivey's article. It's full of depth and insight, extremely well written, I've read it several times already. I'm not sure why, it just really meant a lot to me.
2 - Jon Sobel
I second the motion about Spivey's article - it's inspiring. I also find the Editors' Picks extremely valuable in general - there's just not enough time in the day to be always checking Blogcritics and sorting through for the most interesting stuff.
3 - Lisa McKay
That's really great to hear, Jon - the editors all work really hard throughout the week to cover their respective sections and highlight what's best, and it's nice to know that the effort is worthwhile for folks who don't have the time to read everything.

Diana-
I deeply appreciate your choosing this article. I hadn't checked in on BC for a few days so it was surprising to see the article featured yesterday and chosen today. I also thank Chantal and Jon for their comments.

Thank you. It is nice to know that people read what you write and, with luck, enjoy it.
This honor means that I must admit that my blogging is providing virtual strokes from other folks. That beats masturbation.
I guess I am partly sorry I used the masturbatory metaphor. The puns and jokes flow too easily. But Lisa saw through it to the shared worries of the blogosphere.
Thanks.

Connie, thanks again for choosing one of my articles. You do realize you're raising the bar impossibly high each and every week, don't you?
