Fun times this week.  I take some time to brag on my new 'baby' in the show's intro.  I also talk a little bit more about the great interview with Dawn Olsen in this month's BC of the Month article.

On the show this week:  Eric Olsen stops by to talk a little harvest moon -- and I don't mean Neil Young!

Matt Sussman witnessed one of the most glorious sights of this baseball season and certainly of this baseball postseason.  Suss and I yack about the playoffs as well as examining the play of some rookie QBs who made their debut this past weekend.

Mark Saleski wanted to talk about some of the odd ways we have learned about new bands.  Wouldn't you know it, we wound up talking about podcasts.

Sometime last night, the XML feed died. I will likely be spending tonight re-coding the whole thing. I will have our iTunes/XML feed working again ASAP.

i think you need one of those "that was easy" buttons.

I need a button that dispenses cigarettes and alcohol right now. Actually, my iPod would play that song but I am listening to "Bad" by U2 from Wide Awake in America. It's been that kind of day.

There is at least a 20% chance the feed has been repaired. What a fucking horrible experience that was. I need a codeslave for that shit. I am not cutout for that nonsense.

There was a phone key tone in the middle of EO's speech--- S. Rod pointed out that it was Deejz falling asleep against the phone.

By the way, Saleski and DJR--- in terms of finding new music, have you guys ever checked out GarageBand.com?

I recall hearing someone here mention it a few months back (might have been Berlin)... so I checked it out and have been doing some reviews there. Definitely has some good up-and-comers worth listening to.

Keeping with the musical theme, as well as doing some (shameless) promoting for next week's BCRadio Podcast, I will be on discussing Guitar Hero II. It has both big name, and indie bands in it, plus you get to play their music!

Let me dispel that myth right quick - the phone beep was on EO's end this week. Maybe he got tired of talking. Or not. But I have fallen alseep talking to Saleski. Whenever he starts up with the Steely Dan talk...

You know, Saleski, I think we should force our only two loyal listeners to join the fray and appear as guests on the BCRadio Podcast. We'll do a Sahm v S.Rod steel cage death match or some such thing.

I fixed the XML feed until I fuck it up next week.

For the record, I started using "that's a big bowl of wrong" three years ago.

But if we appear on the BCRP, then who will give you all of the valuable feedback that you crave?

And to Saleski's defense, Steely Dan did have some great 70's jams. How can you not like 'Reelin In The Years'?

Mix it up with DJR on the BCRP!? We are not worthy...LOL

Sahm, you could still provide feedback on the other segments.

S.Rod, after hearing your remixes and the remixery of Sahm I can say you are both definitely worthy. Besides, you dig the R.E.M. That's more than enough cool points to get you on the show.
