For the first time in my recent memory, some doctors are actually recommending against more information on sexually transmitted diseases from being distributed to the public.
The Bush Administration wants to put wording on condom packages warning that condoms don't necessarily protect against human papillomavirus (also called HPV or genital warts)--a scientific fact. Condoms do help protect against a myriad of sexually transmitted diseases, but HPV can be transmitted even with proper condom usage. Now, advocates for condom usage and safe sex education are balking at the Administration's efforts to tell people more factual information about the relative safety of condom use.
Evidently, condom/safe sex advocates believe that this wording is really political speech promoting abstinence instead of the "go ahead and do whatever you want, just wear latex" philosophy. (I guess abstinence is really that offensive.) Either these folks have a vested interest in people having sex--and using condoms in the act (what's the price of condom stocks today?)--or they believe that people are so stupid that they would actually not wear condoms and risk catching everything instead.
Maybe it neither. Maybe instead it's the philosophy where you attack anything that might remotely undermine your view that rampant intercourse is a great thing as long as you don't catch (much of) anything in the process. Whatever the reason, the effort to muzzle such health knowledge immoral and irresponsible.
The next person you hear of who catches the disease while using latex, you should let them know who to thank.

I believe that if someone is ignorant enough to have sex before getting married , then they should be prepared for the consiquences.
