Another Revolution

Solid state reprogrammable storage at about $5 a gig:

Nüp2 Incorporated will revolutionize the electronic memory business. Using our patented memory technology and our patent-pending "Topolithographic" manufacturing process, we will develop and produce solid-state electronic memory having gigabytes of storage in a tiny package for just a few dollars per Gigabyte. Our devices can be manufactured in 3D for an even lower cost per Gigabyte. We will package this technology in industry standard form factors such as CompactFlash™ so that Nup2 memory can immediately be used by a large number of existing devices. Our memory technology is applicable to a wide range of markets and industries. With our planned product line, Nup2 will enter such markets as music and video distribution, digital still and video photography, and Internet downloading and archival information storage. As is the case with rotational optical memory, Nup2 will produce factory programmed and one-time programmable devices.

DVD is merely an evolution of the aging CD-ROM technology whereas Nüp2's memory technology is the next generation storage solution.

Topolithography is the process whereby all of the information for assembling Nup2's memory devices is imprinted on the device substrate in a single initial step. This imprint is the DNA of Nup2's memory technology. Once imprinted, the entire process is self-aligning and self-assembling. Our process has zero mask steps and requires NO photolithography resulting in a tremendous cost savings. Topolithography uses standard silicon semiconductor manufacturing process steps and will run in most fabs.
