Cotner Productions presents a film directed by God. Written by DNA. A Documentary of the birth of a baby girl. Running time: 9 months and 130 hours. Rated G (although physical appearance of the mother right after birth may frighten small children).

Abigail Katharin Cotner is the touching story of a family expanding. Sometime around the first of January, 2002, pre-production on the film began. Pre-production continued in earnest until around the end of January when an independent screening with EPT executives convinced everyone the footage created so far deserved a full treatment.

Mother and Father were at first floored that the film was green-lighted so soon. Negotiations with various actors for the filming of the interior portion of the film had barely even begun. It was only around Christmas that a continuing strike by the Hormonesters was called off and preparations for the restoring of normal company functioning were underway.

Mother quickly realized that filming was going to be rough as long as the stomach was holding out for a pay increase. Sometime around the 4th month of filming, the stomach realized it was being displaced to parts unknown and to prevent a loss of job, capitulated to the demands of the filmmaker.

During this time period, it became apparent that Father’s stomach had no such trouble with filming and was actively pushing for an expansion in its role. Various efforts were made to write a smaller part, including bringing in the trainers from the YMCA. Now that filming has wrapped and the final print cut, Father, in a recent interview for the promotion of the film, expressed hope that his stomach realized the lights have been turned off and will return to normal duties.
