$2 million dollar gift from wealthy Nigerian - Page 2

Dameon Stansfeld, a devout born again Christian, received $2 million from a kind hearted Nigerian stranger. He's now bling-blinging while his pals are sing-singing. Not everyone has been as lucky with the Nigerian emails, however. Teenager Johnny “Rex” Stane claims he responded to a man claiming to be a rich African heir, but didn’t have a bank account so he lost out on the deal. “It was like my third such email.” Explains Rex. “I never understood why so many rich Africans need foreign strangers to help them get their money out of the country, but I just figured it was because they were stupid. I mean, their education system is miles behind ours. But because I didn’t have a bank account or credit card, they wouldn’t give me the cash; I guess they don’t have cheques in Africa.”

An American government official working in the Collections and Fraud Department, who asked to remain anonymous, claims that in the last year alone there have been over three million people who have received a similar email. “Very, very few of these people take the Nigerian emails seriously, and it’s unfortunate, because all they are asking for is your bank account. That’s it. And most people today don’t any any money in the bank anyway, so what are they to lose? I bet they are all kicking themselves in the nuts over this one.”

Reverend Shaun Jameson, underling to Reverend Jesse Jackson, claims that the distrust stems from racist stereotypes. “I mean, if that was some Swedish dude offering you money, you’d take it no problem,” Jameson explains, “But a black man offers you two million dollars and suddenly you don’t want money anymore? What more can an African do to gain white America’s trust? Give him a tuck and rub along with the cash? I feel like it’s the 60’s all over again.”

Whether the Nigerian emails are a scam or the real deal is still unkown to this writer, as I’ve yet to receive the $4.5 million promised by promiment Nigerian coconut dealer.
