Black Pepper Udon

This is a very simple dish to prepare. As the name of the dish is pretty obvious, you’ll be using the Japanese udon noodles. Here are the ingredients:

  • Chicken breast, filleted (about 500g or more, your choice)
  • Fish balls
  • Black pepper
  • Black pepper sauce
  • Udon noodles
  • Garlic
  • Cabbage
  • Spring Onions
  • Light soy sauce
  • Thick soy sauce
  • Sesame oil

We’re gonna add some REAL black papper into the mix

Pour in the black pepper sauce

Boil the udon noodles for 1 minute or so. Not too long as you want to preserve it’s springy texture

Homemade Black Pepper Udon

There are no boundaries for this dish. You may substitute the chicken fillet and fish ball with your choice of meat. Beef sounds good don’t you think?. It was a little spicy for the aftertaste so I guess I used too much crushed black pepper.

Happy cooking :)
