First, Reese and Ryan. Now this?!
Comedian Chris Rock has decided to file for divorce from his wife of 10 years, Malaak Compton-Rock. According to TMZ.com, the 41-year-old creator of The CW's Everybody Hates Chris has already acquired the services of of an attorney. No comment was given from Rock's people on the circumstances of the divorce.
For some, this might not come as such a surprise considering Rock has spoken very openly on his opinions about marriage in his material.
At present, Rock is currently putting the finishing touches on I Think I Love My Wife, which he wrote (along with Louis C.K.) and directed. Meanwhile, Everybody Hates Chris was just recently moved to Mondays after a weak trial-run on Sundays. All Of Us, which is on the same network as EHC, also stars Tony Rock, who is the brother of Chris.
Rock also recently shot one in a series of ads for The Red Campaign, which is a fund designed to help fight the war on AIDS in Africa. Select corporations such as Apple, Motorola, Converse, and Giorgio Armani have created "Red" products whose monies will be contributed to the fund.
Maybe Chris can get help from The Woodster on how to handle a break-up.
